veggin on a eye hortilux?

The local hydro store sold me 2 Eye hortilux LU1000B/htl/en super hps lights and told me these are good for veggin and budding. so i bought them and im wondering is this true will they grow good during the veg time. thanks for your help. here is alink t the bulb from the manufacturer http://www.eyehortilux.com/tb/superhps/EQS-N-52-78-66785.pdf

If it's the bulb with 2 ark tubes (HPS Ark and MH Ark) then yeah its supposed to be the perfect bulb, growing and blooming.

Yeah you can vedge with HPS lights, but you could add little extra blueish daylight cfl to cover wider spectrum... but only your hps will do fine as long as you give them 18+ hrs of light per day.

those are the hottest bulbs out there right now, its like a regular hps with a halide arc tube on it so it can throw out more blue

sweet thanks, i been veggin with a GE 600w hps that has alot of blue in it. i forget which bulb it is exactly. But the plants are getting to big for the 600w to cover all them. Im going to fire 1 1000w and the 600w im sure that will cover all of them.

You are using the Super enhanced series. This is NOT the BLUE series.

No problem tho, the Super enhanced is still a very good bulb. I would go with a 600 watt Super enhanced for veg tho. 1000 is overkill
