Variation on the "when can I sample?" question....But a smart one this time...

Yea again...that couldn't be me then could it..because if it takes that long to SHOW traits it's gotta be at least another week b4 they open
So whichever way u look at it...ill make sure I'm on the look out for nanners...but since I don't have crap genetics..I hope.. and since only super experienced growers get hermies (hair piece on my head) I should be ok for a few weeks since I just turned the lights over march 22nd....and it's only April 8th they would have had to already developed to release pollen and have pollinated my baby flowers that just opened huh?

@Wattzzup - I know- harsh wording. But that’s reality. I actually thought about saving it to see what happened but a couple non-newbs like myself at the time talked me out of it so I didn’t mess up my first real grow.
Currently I have four males I need to deal with, one I’m using as a stud, so-to-speak; Kwazulu! -I need to start a diary on that strain bc loving it so far. Have one in flower with the most delicious fruity notes. Like blueberry bubblegum- not the strains but literally smells like that. I would throw it in tea if I had to sample a nug prematurely.

I’m running very expensive genetics currently. Still found a nanner at week 3

It’s what these plants are bred to do. But people seem to have it figured out better then the rest of us.

Cookie strains are PRONE to herm. So if YOU consider herm traits “crap genetics” then that’s exactly what you have.
I remember now the Tangie I mentioned previously was “Tangie Cookies” from a seed my friend who hooked me up with clones, had found a single one of while trimming, and tossed it in the ground.

If I didn't hack the male down I have right now I'd have had mass pollination in the first 2 weeks. Even stunting his growth I've still got a couple brown hairs - I'm guessing my girls are pollinated.

Keep a look out because it doesn't take much pollen to mess a whole run up. If your girls were fully mature pollination in the 2nd or 3rd week due to nanners isn't entirely impossible. Keep in mind GSC and its crosses are prone to herms.

EIther way...nothing I can do about it now...I'm gonna smoke it regardless....I used to pick seeds out in the 90's I'll do it again....but serious....I popped and adderall and went to town yesterday....checked every branch...(maybe half)....I have a close friend that...He is obviously not as advanced as some of you...but he does own a dispensary in the nation's capital..."my dad can beat up your dad...j/k" but seriously I've been going "retarded" with the ratio's like 1 part cal-mag, 1 part micro, 8 parts bloom....so there could be that...as I said in my journal...I thought why by bloom suppliments that contain high pk when I can just add more p.k.....maybe i was wrong...I am new...I'm only doing this for entertainment....it's not like these are the only plants i'll grow in my life....and i'm certaininly not gonna panik because my first grow is less than ideal...i'll be honest with you i'm super proud of what I did....I coulda had someone hold my hand...but just how I learned javascript...you learn way more by trying doing and failing....EVERYONE of us have failed at something...some of us don't have many other things going for us....so it makes them feel better to be "kknow it alls" honestly I apprieciate that too..I enjoy it, it's entertaining...trading and coding all day gets boring...I enjoy these breaks...that's why I tag certain people...I don't expect them to be peachy and rosey but thats part of the "draw" :hump: I'm Game

New Question:
Moonlight (stay away from moon coins...they barely leave earth..) doesn't seem to affect plants' night cycles only artificial light correct? Would moon light affect indoor plants?Reason I ask...If I don't leave the huge fan on..(only air ACmakes quick 10 drop temp swings which cause the humidity to basically stay high...warmer air holds more water...so 40% humidity at 80 degrees is something like 80% at 70%with the same amount of moisture.. I purposely didn't look up the exact ratio so there's room to be corrected, <teaser>, but the basic point stays the same..the question is
Can I leave the window open with the tent door open or is moon light too much for indoor plants?

I got a pretty decent piece of land in the subs so I face a national park from my office window where da plants reside....so theres no artifical light but I'm hesitant to have any light.....If I could open the tent door and window I could keep the night temps and humidity down...as it stands my inside night temps are either 80's and dry...or 70's and 70% humidity...I've been choosing the 80's and dry..

I know I know back to this tempature doesn't matter thing...but frankly I think it does and there's a ton of science out there and blogs and articles from enough experienced people that I'm going to assume it's true..YES..you can grow marijuana in higher temps...and lower humidity thru veg..but that doesn't mean it's the BEST for the plant. So just becaue you've had no problems and your grow tent temps are always in the mid to upper 80's did you ever thing that if you were able to keep the temps in the low to mid 70's thru flower your grow might...maybe just might..be slightly better....could you tell the diff without having the buds side by side? Maybe not...we pot heads...we prolly forget the exact effects of bud from 3 months to the next...but if you've ever had that super fucking tasty, melt your tastebuds, super sweet berry and migrant farm worker smell...it prolly came from colorado No.cal or the Washington Area...cooler temps allow termpens to be expressed the most...there's no arguing that....keep your bud in a jar in 85 degree room...and take some other bud and store it in a cool dark 70-75 degree room...smoke that shit in 3 months and tell me which on taste better....yet you tell me temps don't affect terps....man go head!

Did I even ask a question? Either way as a whole they look ok...I'm flushing all this week...I'll resume regular feeding next week.20210409_064152#1.jpg
By flushing I mean just feeding plain ph'd water....not doing anything else special....like water till 20 percent runoff or wutever da heck that means. What does that mean? Run off from where? The bottom of the pot? I always imagined they meant like over flow from the pot by 20%...but that doesn't make sense...so I assume water till water runs out the bottom...which is a stupid term...because unless you don't have an opening in the bottom...water always runs out the bottom...unless of course, you don't use enough water.....or your plants are tiny in a big container...but then you shouldn't be worried about water much anyway... I hope I get an 1/8th out of this grow....lol

DIESEL COOKIES OR GIRL SCOUTS DREAM.....?

Scary...but again I don't know that there's much I can do about it at this point...I mean I took pictures of my plants...literally twice a day and documented growth in my journal....I know them pretty well...I didn't notice any nutz..and I did some pretty extreme defoliations...maybe that stressed the plant out so much that they produced internal nutz? I dunno....but it wasn't like I was some grower who just sat around and let his garden grow....so if I missed that it would entirely be my fault...

I remember now the Tangie I mentioned previously was “Tangie Cookies” from a seed my friend who hooked me up with clones, had found a single one of while trimming, and tossed it in the ground.
Now that I think about it...I think I've gotten some gsc..and some wedding cake with a seed or two in it...I think that's entirely possible....the WORST...thing that'll happen is I'll have some unplanned crosses....just MAYBE i'll invent a new strain out of this...Sour-D/GSC or Blue Dream/GSC assuming it's the GSC that did this....so again not the end of the world......

I think the more likely culprit is the high PPM's of p.k...I'm going to try and flush...But my parents grew up in the 70's hell...if we got a few seeds the sun will still shine tomorrow....

BUT I WILL BE ADVIDLY ON THE LOOKOUT FROM THIS POINT FORWARD...and removing anything that I see.

I wondering what Diesel Cookies would taste Like?
or Girl Scout's Dream....that's how I would sell the strain

I think you can get close the 90s with Co2. I’m not really sure because I’ve never used it. Check it.

It’s because at high temperatures the plants will bind oxygen instead of CO2 due to the shape of the enzyme they use, which means they lose energy instead of storing it. Adding CO2 helps to counteract this by increasing the ratio of CO2/O2 allowing the plant to store energy even at higher temps.
