dont bother going nimbin man its only like once a year they actualy have a "festival" just go to amsterdam way more weed probably cheaper and stronger aswell.

i come from oz and the only reason its good is because weed isnt a criminal offense anymore meaning unless you grow a chemercial amount there should be no jail time...
id go amsterdam because you can smoke heapsa weed and do more shit...
plus there will be more stuff to do...

not sure Kog says 50 but i dont know about that
im going to court soon for 4 seedlings...
but i think its to the polices discretion for up to 2 plants or a certain amount...
meaning its not legal and they can choose to give you an on the spot fine OR if they dont like you they can take it as far as they want meaning your screwd....
we only have one place with medical weed and its a tiny part of australia (ACT)
i dont know y australias ranked as one of the easiest going places on pot on some web pages... its still illegal here 2...

the fucked thing is id prolly be eligible for medicated weed if we had it lol....
no more ideas on laws really im not a lawyer or anything lol.... also a bit sketchy on the ACT info so dont take it too heart just some thing i heard.
all i know is im hoping for a fine and if thats the case ill kop it sweet. dont wanna push ma luck....

Hmmm, well Amsterdam totally fucking rocks its by far my favorite place on Earth. Not just Amsterdam i love the whole country. Although iv never been to Nimbin so i cant give you any insight to what that place is all about, tho i have heard good things. If i were you I would not even think twice it would be the Netherlands in a heart beat. I went for my 18th and again for my 20th B-days and i will Never forget the experience despite the fact i probably smoked about 3 zips if not more worth of material on each ocasion. And make sure if you do pick Adam that you stay in a hotel in the Joordan district, best area by far to stay in(Least touristy area of the city, and one of the cleanist) and make sure u make time to visit one of the many museums as they are truly world fukin class.

I was in Amsterdam for the Cannabis Cup in 2000 and that city is truly amazing. I stayed at the Lancaster Hotel (it's totally smoke free now though so...I think they got tired of ringing the phone/banging on the door because we were doing bong hits and forgot to open the window again) and we could hear whales in the early AM before the bustle of the city woke up.
The museums like SOorganic said are unreal. Art if you're into that, pot, sex, tatoo and torture if you're not. Don't miss Ann Frank house if you go!
Red light district is a must see too even if all you do is walk around checking out the porn star hot ladies!
My only real thought if the choice was mine would be which place is closer/cheaper to travel to. Not much point to spending half a day each way in flight if stoner paradise is the main goal of your vacation.
