Ive heard of people using strawberries or blueberries in a pot as their grow medium to produce fruit flavor nugs. has anyone else heard of this method or know anything about it? i would really like to know if works or not.

wouldnt you just get moldy fruits in your bud?
it sounds awesome and that it might work in theory, because all the plant is doing is absorbing flavor, but it seems like there would be a few problems

I will help ya out. That is not goin to work. The berries are going to mold in a week. So now you are growing in mold. Think about that question.

plants don't absorb tasteout of the soil. If you want blueberry weed grow a blueberry strain.

what about curing? i've heard of flavoring your weed with different fruits and other things during the curing process, never through the soil haha

If you leave unrefrigerated strawberries and blueberries near your buds or plants you're going to get bugs not flavor!

The Botanicare Sweet line of nutes change the flavor of the plant, so I'm sure there are ways to do it. But I don't think rotting fruit would be the way to do it. I used to hear tales of people using kool aid dissolved in water to impart some sort of flavor into the plant in the last weeks of flower, but I've never tried it and don't know. Seems like you'd just be askin for trouble puttin strange ingredients on the roots. I'd suggest a more flavorfull strain to begin with.

i read an article that you can add diffrent flavors to your bud the last few weeks. Ive heard you can get diffrent types pof extracts, like vanilla, ect, that will effect the flavor of the buds. I also read you can add diffrent juices to your soil for the last few weeks as well. A lot of people seem to add apple juice..
