Using Light Mover For 3 Tables?

I have 3 2x4 flowering tables, and they each would have 8 plants on them, so 24 plants in all. Could I place a light mover over the three tables, and use 1 light to sufficiently light the 3 tables? Possibly have 2 lights moving back and forth, instead of 3 stationary? Would this provide enough light for every plant?

2 600's on 4' light movers would be hot. you could get stands that hold the table and light, great accessory for a lightmover, that's if they fit together

i mean 3 ...600's and it's something you caan do, they make the stands. maybe you can do better with 2 on 6' rails

The 3 600s would be in cool tubes and a 8" inline fan cooling them down (hopefully all of them lol).

I will never use light rails to flower again. I used to use a 600 on a 4foot rail over 8 beast organic girls but I think that the rails spread the light too far. You will get decent results but it will be just that. The plants really do better with that light just camped out above them. If you do use the rail get a higher wattage and get the light pretty darn close to the plants. The intense light/heat will only be over them momentarily and so you are way less prone to get any light burn. I like my nugs dense and chuncky which is not what a rail will bring to the table

I agree with 707...light rail for me was a waste. Id ditch the cool tubes and buy real hoods to.

In my system, would 3 hoods work fine? With the different flowering tables at different stages. They'll all be cooled by an 8" Hurricane inline fan. What hood would you recommend?

I recommend the Blockbuster hood. You can get a 8'' one's to match your 8'' hurricane fan but the 6'' ones are slightly more reflective and cheaper. Close friend runs 4 600hps with 4 blockbusters in one room and he has the same fan as you. As far as doing perpetual per table id just set all the lights to your max height you want then let them stretch to it.

I use a light rail over a 7 ft area so it moves about 3 ft total side to side an I get rocks on my go 18 an sky walker an got some space bomb in there now. Im runnin a 1000 eye. An I used to run a growzilla hood with a1000 blue halide an a1000 hps over a 9 ft area worked great

Thanks, I'll go with the 3 blockbuster hoods :) Even though my tables are at different canopy levels, all the lights should be up high? I thought the lumens decreased by a lot for every foot the light is over the plants.

if the 6 inch is better get the 6 and just get a reducer from 8 to 6 to connect em , ive ran 1600 watts connected to a carbon filter,(its in one of my threads) and the fan did the job to cool em it was a 1000 and a 600 . maybe the 8 inch can cool all three 600's , i dont see why it wouldnt

if you let em stretch too much itll be lanky plants with not the best results . just leaves some slack on the ducting to adjust the light 1 higher than the other thats what i did for the 1000 and 600

Yeah, that's what I was originally planning to do. I have a 6" inline fan that I could use to cool the hoods by their selves, and then use the 8" for the carbon filter/exhaust.

a 6 inch for 3 hoods <? , maybe you can pull it off but honestly i dont think itll cut it , personally i would get a reducer to connect em to the 6 inch hoods and use the 6 inch for the room/filter the fan cooling the hoods is the 1 thats going to need the most power.

When I get everything set up I'll see how I'll have to set it up for my needs. I'm sure the 8" fan would be needed on the hoods, and if it can't do it alone I'll use the 6" as for the filter/exhaust.
