Greetings. I thought Id share a few pictures of my duck work. I have a cellar style/crawlspace basement, so, I thought this would be a great place to dump my lights cooling air. I removed the register cover and manuvered the HVAC box so I could duct tape half of it closed and then duct tape it into position... On the other side of the register's hole, I inserted the discharge end of my 6" ducting then sealed with duct tape. Easy peasy.
The fan/ cardboard monstrosity is in temporary place of a 6" in line duct fan that I have ordered and am waiting on delivery... That damn Golden Goat bud got me mad MacGyver-ish, though! I didn't want to wait till this weekend to complete the project... Honestly, except for its obnoxious size and appearance, it is working great! the temperature at my canopy is 78 degrees, down from the high 80s!
