Upgraded from 2 250w to 2 400w.

So I have'nt been on in a month or so, but I wanted to let everyone know my harvest went off without a hitch!! 12 differnt strains and I ended up with 15.7 DRY oz. I took a few bucks and invested into some larger wattage. Who has 400w and any tips you could share? I notice they crank off a lot more heat, but man are they BRIGHT lol I have some new strains also...Tighty Whitey and White Widow. Will update soon!

I use (2) 400w HPS lights for flowering in my 5'x 4' room and as long as I have the vent and oscillating fan on, my room never goes above 75 degrees ( I'm also growing in a basement and it's a cold winter )

But I haven't really noticed the heat to be too much of an issue as long as you have some way for air to circulate and leave the room.

Yeah, I have a 22 sq foot room in the basement as well. I enclosed it 100% and run a 70cfm exhaust and have 1 fan running 24.7 I have a small digital heater set to kick on if it reaches 60F for night time. We have 2 feet of snow on the ground atm. I just hope for larger buds comming from the 250w.

You will definitely get larger buds with the 400w lights. I've been getting close to 2 ounces dried per plant. Good luck bud
