maybies if u read and answered the q properly without tryin to be smartass. Now put your dummy back in and f#*k off youve been a right laugh. :)
I was answering your question? I was in NO way being a smart ass. I was just simply saying that you're at the point where you don't need our opinion and can cut whenever you want. You'll get stoned, I KNOW you're not going to be able to tell the difference between the head stone and cough lock stone, or care. It's your first grow, you're just wanting some bud. I don't get how I was being a smart ass or rude. You're the one that called me a prick. Don't know why you're so mad.

It's all a matter of opinion, in my opinion. It's got enough brown hairs and is trichy, so it'll obviously get you stoned, just a matter of preference and if you think they are "done" enough for you.
How is this being a smart ass, rude or anything? How is this not answering your question? This is a lot more informative than me going "2-3 weeks bro", which could be entirely false. Learning to read your plants is one of the biggest battles in growing and the sooner you recognize things (like being finished, etc.) on your own, it'll make it a lot easier.

Listen, i wanted opinions and you didnt give one just an answer which i found to be a smartass comment and totally unhelpful. Then you called me a downy and that is wrong so take your prejudice elsewhere please.

I don't think it's a matter of preference. If i put a ripe flower and a premature bud in front of anyone, they are going to prefer the ripe one every time.

Thats what i want, a ripe bud but do you think if i leave the top buds as long as it takes for the lower buds to mature they are at risk of deteriating ??

they shouldn't be too far behind the tops. let em go until you see that change in pistil color, the leaves will start to slightly curl upward, and there will be a golden tinge to the buds. If the lower flowers still have some white hairs its ok it's normal for them to be a little bit slower in ripening.

Well i dont have an opinion because like i said before this is my first grow and have nothing to compare it to. Which is why i asked what more experienced growers thought of the matter. I dont care if i get couch lock from trichs turning amber just dont want to pick them while theyre still growin and not ripe but at the same time i dont want them to go over and lose potency. Too many smart ass pricks on this site. Did i not make my self clear enough to you i want your opinion on how long to leave it.

Nobody is being smart with you. You need to lose the fucking attitude. I didn't see one smartass comment in this thread. And if you really think no one is helping then use the damn search function and type in "when to harvest."

Yo brotha, just took a look at your pics and i'd say that you are at least 2 more weeks from those girls' chop time. Let all of the pistils (hairs) turn color before you're thinkin about chopping. As for a scope, if you aren't color blind then a 4-8x magnifying glass will be fine to look for amber trichomes. The trichomes turning amber and being around 20% of your total trichomes will tell you that you have entered your harvest window. The trichomes are what get you high, and they move in a cycle from all milky colored (right before ripe) to mostly amber (potency starting to degrade from there on) so they're your internal clock for when to harvest. As for it being your first grow with bagseed... Fuck it!! How do your plants look? Great if you ask me!! In NO ways are you less of a grower if you researched all the info based on other grower's experiences from trial and error, so pretty much you HAVE THEIR experience! More milky trichomes = a more uplifting head high and more amber = more narcotic body high. Fuckin simple right?! Don't let people tell you that you're not lookin for quality, because your plants wouldn't look HALF as good if you didn't do it correctly. I'm also a first time grower with blueberry bagseeds, and i'm sorry but my shit rivals grower's quality of 20 yrs experience... So if you know how to read and use logic when making decisions, then you can make just as bangin bud as these fools who think they know it ALL (which is a horrible trait). Keep up the bangin work man, and don't chop too early! And one GREAT tip of advice. Give the plants 1 tablespoon of non- sulfur molasses per gallon of water a couple times before you start flushing. I made a consious decision based on lots of research from other grower's personal unbiased experiences, and DAMN does it make your trichome development AND calyx swelling twice as productive!! It's your decision, but i'm just lending the tip. Hope the info helped man, take it easy

OKAY, SO THIS IS MY FIRST GROW SO AM A LITTLE UNSURE. THIS IS BAGSEED AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT STRAND. I HAVE DONE ALOT OF RESEARCH OVER THE LAST FEW MONTH AND I KNOW THAT I SHOULD REALLY BUY A MAGNIFIER BUT I AM POOR LOL AND I HAVE READ ALOT OF PLACES THERE IS TOO MANY VARIABLES TO JUST TRUST THE TRICHS ALONE. SO I WAS HOPING IF YOUS EXPERIENCED GROWERS COULD HELP ME WITH MY PLANTS AND GIVE ME THEIR INPUT BY LOOKING AT MY PICTURES. (SORRY ABOUT THE CRAPPY PICS BTW).
MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT THE PISTILS ON THE TOPS OF THE PLANT ARE MOSTLY TURNING BROWN AND I AM ONLY 38 DAYS INTO 12/12. I VEGGED 18/6 FOR 42 DAYS, MY FIRST PREFLOWERS WAS AROUND 32 DAYS BUT I WANTED TO VEG A LITTLE LONGER.
HOWEVER, BUDS LOWER DOWN WHICH THERE IS A PIC OF ARE MAINLY WHITE. I DONT WANT TO DO A STAGGERED HARVEST BECAUSE MY GROW ROOM IS THE ONLY PLACE I CAN DRY MY BUD AND I CANT DRY BUD UNDER A 400W HPS IF YOUS ALL GET MY DRIFT.
ANY WAYS HERE IS MY PICS OF THE PANT AND ITS BUDS FOR YOUS TO GIVE YOUR OPINIONS ON HOW LONG IS LEFT AND ANY COMMENTS, TIPS ON WHERE I COULD TRIM MY PLANYS ETC WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
OH YEAH NEARLY FORGOT THE LAST PIC IS OF MY BARNEYS FARM BLUE CHESE BUD I PUT IN CAUSE I THINK SHES HOT:bigjoint:

I'm doing a staggered harvest right now. Not what I had in mind, but it's not that big of a deal. However, you will want to rethink your flush strategy if you are doing this.

I agree with what others have said. It's a few weeks yet. She is still making buds.

When you get closer you can snip a single bud off a cola, dry it and smoke. It will give you some idea. Although the dried cured dope will be stronger and taste much nicer.

Also, you don't have to harvest the whole plant at once. You can harvest some colas early and some later to experiment with the different highs you get.

Looks sweet!

Yea i think i may have to do a staggered harvest because the buds on top are quite a bit further on than the lower ones. So yea im not sure what to do about flushing. Thanks again peeps.

I don't flush. But I cut my nutes back in the last weeks. I also switch to MH in the last two weeks. A tip I picked up from Ed Rosenthall's book.
