i know theres plenty of threads about uvb..
But this ones the truth i peeped a weakness in the weed game n sowed it Bow Down”

Without UVB your never fonna get the true lab coat defined definition of THC CNS-Depressant hal·lu·ci·no·gen

Also without UVB your never gonna get the tripped out laughter high of unlocking the trichrome...

Outdoor weed and uvb weed has the power to make niggas pukereg weed doesnt..

Look all im sayen is follow nature you gotta grow outdoors or use uv rays early in flower not much after 4 weeks.. even in veg.. that late uvb effect is way weird, my way will remind you of the regs you blazzed with your hommies in high skool laughen your ass off..

54 watts of agromax pure uv per 1000 watts is all you need

As an outdoor guy, I have a hard time saying anything about this one way or another.
With that caveat, conventional wisdom in my area suggests trichome production IS correlated to strong sun, but I'm no scientitian so the real mechanism behind it is beyond me.
I am but a simple farmer, tending to my buds.

I prefer weed that was uv added. I know most say uvb is wanted but I've used uva with success. No lab test.

Just noticed the weed is better.

There's at least one University experiment that confirms it. They showed an increase of 25% over the control. I don't remember if it was just UVA or both. SolaCure lighting manufacturer also did an experiment where they crowd sourced with growers who were able to control all variables to test their UV tubes. Their testing showed the same thing. I believe the tests were done by an independent lab.

i call bullshit as my outdoor and my indoor of the same clones test about the same the only thing that changes is terpenes my outdoor plants make terpenes that my indoor ones dont as well as has higher amounts of the terpenes my indoor GG#4 has 3% terps as my outdoor has 4%. depending on sunny days sometimes my indoor can have more thc then my outdoor but if we have perfect weather my outdoor tests higher. also i get more colors from my outdoor plants then i do indoor i get pink pistals outside but the same clone inside wont go pink until after 2 weeks outside

Uv exposure also increases terpenes so you're really not helping your case much for calling bullshit.

what i mean is by adding just uvb your not going to take crap weed and magically turn it to aaa. flavors change but its not a magic button to make good weed is what i mean

Yeah, everything else still has to be done right. And as far as the claims of the op... Not gonna happen.

Im guessing your out door is in soil. Are your indoor in soil or hydro?
Reason I ask is that I think soil may be better for terpenes.

I'm afraid not. As long as the plant is getting good balanced nutrition, that's all that matters.

UVB is definitely going to help. Some say UVA also works, others dissent.

UVA, UVB, there's a whole lot more to it then complete nutrition. You need to keep a proper t dif relevant to the period of growth. Different periods of growth need different ideal RH percentages. Every stage of growth is directly affected by root zone conditions.

There's a whole lot more to it than a " I'm good balanced nutrition".

Agreed, hence my point, There are more trace elements and minerals in soil than in a bottle.
The plant only needs 26 nutrients and they need them in soluble form full availability. Both organics and hydroponics can deliver them. Hydro is more controllable and can accelerate plant growth under ideal conditions such as the one we work so hard to maintain indoors.

Drying and curing makes more of a difference in flavor and potency than substrate choice, given they are competently managed.

UV has additional benefits beyond improving resin content and potency; it also helps control powdery mildew and other such problems.

If you choose to use it, be extremely careful to shut it off when working on your plants or at least wear UVA/UVB blocking safety glasses. Macular degeneration will be a common malady of old growers who ignore this advice.

You are more then likely right but I just feel that there may be more to it than just what the plant "needs".

Wine grapes all need the same things but some soils just produce a better grape.

If people produced wine from grapes grown indoors, I rather suspect the end results would be similar.

Terroir has as much to do with nutrient deficiency and environmental conditions as anything else. That's not to denigrate it in any way- and it's possible that limiting the availability of certain nutrients may affect and even improve the quality and/or flavor of cannabis.

I was just trying to stick to the thread topic lol

The thread topic had nothing to do with nutrients. Specifically or otherwise. LOL.
