Yer Killin me, Joe! LMAO
You are right. UV, a,c, or b, is only part of the story. The fact is that the only non environmental factor is genetic potential of the seed or clone. After that everything from light spectrum and available nutrients to atmospheric conditions and root zone environment, and then some, are all pretty much equal players when it comes to the final outcome.

The classic example from the old school textbooks was the 'barrel stave' concept, now more widely known as the 'weakest link in the chain'.

The factor that limits your grow most is the one farthest out of whack with the needs of the plant.

UV is one more link. I've grown great weed without it but I doubtless left something on the table. I've smoked other people's weed who used UV in their flowering chamber and it was also excellent.

Not just punch but longevity of the high was one memorable effect.

My whole pholosophy on it is two part;

1) no stressers are beneficial but somethings are beneficial in spite of the stress they cause and;

2) nearly everything you can do that can benefit the ultimate outcome can be critical so should be treated as equally important as anything else.

Obviously somethings are beneficial without being critical, like UV, but you get the idea.
