If you interpreted it that way you have a shallow understanding of how politics works. Universal healthcare, universal college, shit like that, the kind of stuff Sanders was proposing during the campaign is paid for by taxes, just like nearly every other modern nation has.

The "free shit" meme you're attempting to push to discredit Sanders is the same thing pushed by the right-wing retards you oppose at RIU, implying poor people are just stealing from rich people to pay for their healthcare and school. We heard a similar message pushed by Clinton behind the scenes when she was giving a speech she thought wouldn't be available to the public when she was discussing how absurd the notion of universal college was. Gee, how'd that work out for her? As it turns out, progressives actually want that on the platform, they don't really think it's all that absurd.. weird..
alright.. so put it this way. you obviously dont have a good job. thats just completely obvious. do you have any idea how much taxes would of had to go up to make those things happen? people arent going to give health care, teach.. for free. and our taxes right now wouldnt handle all that. so i should pay more because some little asshole wants to get a worthless degree in arts while im working my ass off?

caring about democracy isnt believing whatever thing you read from wikileaks.. if you cared about democracy youd be more concerned about other countries getting in like that. if you gave any kind of shit about democracy you wouldnt be on here crying about the past and youd be figuring out about whats coming.
Right, it's all Russia's fault! If only Putin hadn't leaked what the DNC was doing behind the scenes, Hillary would be president!

Hey, maybe the DNC shouldn't have been doing all that shady shit all you guys are still denying they did. Maybe if they hadn't done any of that, there wouldn't have been anything for Wikileaks to release.

A foreign government influencing American elections is wrong, but so is a domestic organization influencing American elections. I find it funny you would oppose one but support the other. That's what they call inconsistency.

I actually do have a pretty good job for a single person without a family. Anything above a living wage is good

The amount taxes would have gone up is negligible to the amount other costs would have gone down. Take a basic course on economics to get a better understanding of this. This is exactly how it works in other countries and they do far better than the US when it comes to costs/income.

i dont care that clinton lost.. i got enough money to ride this shitty elect out. but you say you care about democracy.. thats bullshit. if you truly cared about democracy. youd be more worried about what the hacks and that other shit. not what they showed.
russia hacked both the repubs and the dems.. but only the dems got released. while you guys sat on the sidelines crying about Colonel Sanders.. trump won. so really, russia won.

That's where paying your fair share comes in.

so the taxes go up... but someone else would have to take a loss for them to go down. yup sounds stupid

Right wing memes, "free shit", brilliant

You remind me of Babs34
Really? Now you're employing lame brain republican talking points?

You do realize that programs like single payer healthcare aren't "free", right?
I think that @srh88 was pointing out how the right were loading the propaganda machine in case Bernie won the nomination. While it's ironic that Putin played a deliberate role in Trump's win, Bernie would have been called a communist from here to tomorrow. He's not of course but the propaganda would have been effective. The right wing doesn't care about truth.

I don't think it was about what he owed to Hillary or the DNC. He didn't want to fuck over the American people by splitting the Democratic vote and give all the idiots who are currently blaming Sanders for Clinton's loss a legitimate reason to blame him. Now that she lost all on her own even with his endorsement, it has proved everything he and his supporters said correct. Moving forward, this gives him a lot of influence within the party. The only way to win is by moving to the left. The only question is if establishment Democrats would rather keep losing than move to the left.
2007 was the handwriting on the wall.

As evidenced by Trump backpedaling even before he's in office.

What promise has he kept so far?

The content of the emails is far more interesting to me than the fact that a foreign government might want to influence our elections. We know foreign governments might want to influence our elections, if we want to protect against that, we should probably improve our cybersecurity. To me, evidence of a rigged democratic primary is enough to declare an illegitimate election, so if you actually cared about democracy, you would care about that.
