Alright so.. this is an unknown bagseed plant that has been 12/12 from seed and is completely caked and covered in trichomes... has been 100% healthy other than some slight nute burn up until now... The underside of the leaves are starting to turn a blotchy purple color... the top of the leaves look nice and green (maybe a little blotchy) but no purple... but look at the pic.. any ideas??

im feeding with the complete earth juice organic nute line up. its under 250w hps and 2 25w cfls which makes for 300 actual watts. this particular plant is planted in FFOF mixed with Miracle grow organic soil and perlite about a 30/30/40 mix.

I am quite definite that you haven't added P or K in the last week or 2 since they started properly budding/flowering. You have purple stems and bluish blotches and this is due to P/K deficiency, more P but they use a lot of both.

i have indeed been feedng them.. they have been budding for going on 5-5 1/2 weeks now.. 12/12 from seed.. i feed them earth juice which is an extremely mild organic nute line up... which includes grow, bloom, catalyst, micro & meta-K.

i had a plant that i previously harvested that had a p/k deficiency and the leaves turned yellow/purple but it was the entire leaf not the underside of the leaf..... the leaves on these two plants look for the most part normal on top but botchy purple on the bottom... and the leaf stems have been reddish/purple since they sprouted out of the soil but the main stalk and all the bud stems are nice and healthy green caked in trichomes ...but.. if this really is P/K deficiency should i add more Meta-k? or should i just up the bloom nutes?

i just fed them today and what i fed them was 3/4 gallon of food which was mixed as follows

3 teaspoons of Earth juice bloom 0-3-1
1 teaspoon of Meta-k 0-0-1
1 teaspoon of micronutes
1/2 teaspoon of Catalyst 3-1-1(contains molasses)

i just searched google.. and noticed people are feeding their plants up to 2 table spoons of grow and bloom ...damn i guess i gotta up the nutes.... but i feel like i already burnt my plants some how???? possible the miracle grow organic potting soil caused my feedings to "over" feed... after feeding straight water last feeding and not seeing the burns continue to worsen. and now starting to see this purple under leafs and yellowing of some of the bottom leaves....i should probably up the nutes now??

Definitely a little weird. Sometimes it just comes down to plant genetics. You might not be doing anything wrong at all lol

after 2 or 3 months the fertilizer wears off in the miracle grow and then you can fertilize it, to me the problem is the 12/12 from seed , miracle grow soil and the dosages are measured in gallons , so with 3/4 gallon use 3/4 dose of fertilizer, whatever the dose is. but only after the soil fertilizer wears off. there are lots of weird issues with soil indoors you have to keep balanced.
I would say flush, water with tap water then dry it out for a day or 2 , though most might disagree. looked like leaf margins curling under, is there underwatering or overwatering too maybe?
they would have got bigger and fatter if you vegetated some but you still might get quality so just do the best you can with your equipment:mrgreen:

I meant an increase in P/k not the whole lot. I use Canna which of course ios a complete N P K but this doesn't mean that I don't have to add PK13/14 when they start to flower. The standard bottle amount isn't always enough.

so in other words i should feed perhaps an extra tablespoon of earth juice BLOOM! on my next feeeding?...

@ moebius. i personally dont have a problem but out of the plants ive grown. i have never seen a leaf turn purple from the bottom side.... but checking this morning... the leaves that were purpling on the bottom are now coming through to the top of the leaf aswell

btw i am not using any miracle grow nutrients.. only what came in the soil.. and i figured the earth juice line up is so mild i could start lightly feeding them... i fed a little to soon but now the nute burn has stopped proggressing and they look fine now.. and about the 12/12 from seed/vegging comment... i absolutely understand i would have bigger plants/bigger yeild the longer i veg.. but i am growing in a very small cloest with little over head room.. so smell and height are my issues which is why im doing 12/12 from seed aswell as LST.. i figured i can keep them short and i assume the smaller they are the less stinky they are

Edit.. i have 1 plant that i did not lst but still 12/12 from seed and she's in full flower and only a little bit over 1 foot tall

Yeah likewise Tool, lol j/k couldn't resist. anyways I've seen plants turn purple before but never like that, usually was sumptin that started in the smaller sugar leaves or maybe in the buds. But it does look purple, the only other thing I can really think of with the dark spots but it doesn't look like it would be some kind of necrosis in the plant, but it looks healthy too. So give it to a "friend" 1st if they smoke it and die then its not good.

well the buds look very tasty in my opinion and the purpling is only on the fan leaves... another thing ive noticed is alot of the calyxes tips are purple too ...hmm maybe its just some wierd genetics o_O

yes the front of the cloest is the only spot for me to get fresh air inside the closet... i made my own door that has breathable fabric around the edges ...is this a problem?

to add to that... i move the plants around the cloest everyday so they are always in different positions... for example the one in the back in the pictures is now on the left side etc..
