LUNCH TIME:

We had crab cakes with lobster sauce and my wife made a favorite of mine called kelp fried cream puffs. You take a croissant and butter it on both sides. Paint cream cheese on one side (inside of roll) add a bit of kelp, and half a slice of already cooked bacon. Roll & Fry. AWSOME!

Sick, Hurting, and Bored. I cant get out, its driving me wild...

Whats going on in your neck of the woods?

I am looking out the window at a snow capped mountain across the river. Its bright and sunny, there is a light breeze and its around 5 below zero. There are ravens soaring over, and I can see ducks in an open clearing of water in the mostly frozen river. I can imagine there are hundreds of rainbow trout laying in the shadows beneath. The snow gives off a glimmer that makes diamonds out of every square inch of covered wilderness. The Lake above is frozen over and an eagle is fishing just at the end of the lake where the mouth of the river begins. The turbulent water at this stretch is cold and flowing unable to freeze. I can hear branches snap with the warming of the sun. I see tiny tracks leading up the bank where a mink has been busy. I wonder about my trap line. I wonder how much longer I will be able to do this. I hope I die here...

Peaceful atleast ,this doob is for you. Out my window you ask...lol about 100 houses that look just like mine...on the outside, its a tad chilly but oddly enough I can smell spring in the air, as well as a little bit of exhaust. Looking over the many roofs that surround me there are a few stars but not many, all but drowned out by the spectacle that is super walmart a few miles down the road. No animals anywhere except the annoying dog i can hear barking at all times of the night. Where or what is home to some, may be a nightmare to others but none the less you always know when you get there that you have arrived

May those who love us,
Love us.
And those who do not love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping

Shits and Giggles,

Who can guess the dry weight? Its a hard one!

Jacks is a lighter producer, with not very heavy buds. 10 days to go... Keep guessing until crop day and Ill let you know who got it.

Those bud shots are amazing woodsman.

I don't want to guess final weight for fear of jinxing you.....

I am always amazed at how light my Jack yields are. I usually find myself tapping the scale to make sure its not broke, but what it lacks in weight, it more than makes up for in taste and buzz.

Can't wait for the next set of pics......

Woodsman, I posted on the first page of this thread and I am in the process of building a off grid cabin. It is a very simple system with 3 15w solar panels, 2 12v batteries, charge controler and a couple lights. The cabin also has a water collection system and passive solar hot water. This is just the base pod I am hopeing to add more as I go and one day live completely off grid. Im sorry if you already talked about but could you give me some more details on your alternative energy system? Thanks Dirtfree

14.5 OZ's were harvested from the Jacks Cleaner 2 Scrog. The lower growth was harvested later as it took more time and light to finish. Sorry for this late post.
