Umphrey’s McGee percussionist Andy Farag has apparently announced his candidacy for President. The Umphrey’s McGee camp has posted Farag’s first campaign video, created Farag for President campaign merchandise and launched the Twitter handle

Members of Umphrey’s McGee will perform during the 7th inning stretch during the Chicago Cubs game today. The band will kick off a series of shows at Kansas City, Missouri’s The Crossroads KC tomorrow.

I haven't seen them since 2001 or so. They used to play at this little bar in our little college town in the midwest 3-4 times a year. There would only be like 30-40 people there.
My favorite was after a break when they would come back and play along with a snoop dogg track... then they would slowly fade out the track and the short chubby guy would rap. The drummer could seriously hold down hip hop.
I'm not really into much hip hop, but it was fun.
