Indoor Growers — What’s Your Current Setup Looking Like in 2025?

Hey growers!

I’m always curious about how different people dial in their indoor grows. From lighting choices to airflow tricks — there's a lot to learn from seeing how others get it done.

So, what’s your current indoor setup look like?

  • What size tent or space are you using?
  • LED or HPS? Any go-to brands?
  • What medium are you growing in (soil, coco, DWC, etc.)?
  • Favorite strains in the tent right now?

I’m in the process of upgrading my setup and could really use some inspiration from the pros here. Drop a pic if you’ve got one!

Let’s geek out on gear and grow styles

4x4 tent, 70w/150w/250w/400w/600w/1000w metal halides, 2 ts 100's x 100w leds , 70w/400w/600w/1000w sodium's organic dirt/compost/amendments. too many to name.
again, i don't grow indoors in summer, grow outside only.
so nothing on the go atm
8 hole mister aeroponic clone chamber

Dtw coco 10% pearlite or less. My whole grow is BAB or Boxfan-Above-Barlight which I did 3 complete grows this way since I got budrot and powdery mildew. For budrot the highest Ive gone was reaching maximums of 55rh briefly which was enough to mold before so I think the fans help with that too.

Mars hydro fce1500 and some fc1500 for veg. The difference is bridgelux vs samsung les chips, the bridgelux has more red in it I was told. I think it makes buds look a little fox taily. I just like the airflow but maybe the samsung would grow more normal. A vipar spectra ks3000 but theyre being discontinued.

I have a 3x3 6ft tall, 2.5x2.5 6 ft tall and two 2.5x5’s that are six and half ft tall in a 10x10 flower room on ground floor. For veg in basement I have a 5x3 and 3x3 both 6ft tall. Height matters, taller is better. 6ft minimum unless its a dry tent. I have a 2x2 and 2x4 dry tent 5ft tall.

All AC Infinity exaust fans, vivosun carbon filters. 6” filters for flower with all tent intake openings opened up. I really maximize airflow. Two 22 pint frigidaires dehumidifiers for flower room to keep rh low as possible. Dehumidifier in dry room as well in basement dry space which is just a dropcloth closing off 25 sq ft of the basement to keep 60/60. Its important.

AC infinity clone dome and heat mat with root riot plugs wicking up water from water tray. My seedlings I grow however I can to bug proof, Im still building something for them. To grow them similar to how I do clones which I plant and bug proof immediatly, eyes on plant until its sealed closed. Then bag them like you see here.

Its just the idea of making sure they cannot get in. I put bug jell in the tied shut openings. I put panty hose tied on the pvc part that dumps the runoff so thats two barriers. The original fabric pot is stapled and bug jelled shut upon planting clone with the drippers inside of it. Take advantage of drain to waste coco and make a sealed system.

This is important important important!! I lost so many plants to gnats and aphids and worst yet.. If running perpetual clones, your mother plant is everything.

That can damage your genetics. Always take clones off a mother thats replaced only after years and for good reason otherwise let it be. Dont take clones of clones or reveg. I hate that I only read a few people say that and paid the price not listening.

For that reason I have to start fresh so I decided on a new watermelon ultra and a chocolate mint og. While this old watermelon ultra runs its course, its done for. Theres just no other explination for the extract yield being cut in half suddenly otherwise you wouldnt think anything was wrong with it.

Forgot to add I process dry brick coco to my own coco and perlite mix by rinsing and double buffering with calmag. Treated with athena IPM before buffering. It helps weave out waterlogged coco or unbuffered.

Forgot to add my favorite part of my flower room. The 800w portable ac. Very much needed. 5 gal bucket for each plant in flower, 25 gal runoff reservoir. Veg space has 25 gal res and runoff rez but the 3x3 has a few buckets for reservoir and runoff reservoir.
