[h=2]Umphrey’s McGee’s Andy Farag for President[/h]
Umphrey’s McGee percussionist Andy Farag has apparently announced his candidacy for President. The Umphrey’s McGee camp has posted Farag’s first campaign video, created Farag for President campaign merchandise and launched the Twitter handle
@Farag4President. We’ll see where the campaign leads but we are willing to bet it is somewhere funny.
Members of Umphrey’s McGee will perform during the 7th inning stretch during the Chicago Cubs game today. The band will kick off a series of shows at Kansas City, Missouri’s The Crossroads KC tomorrow.

ive seen umphreys about a dozen times or so. mainly bc i have a few close friends that are really into them (150 shows plus). i am really into 'turn dub' right now. its a super smooth little reggae beat number. also the booth love video cracks me up.

I haven't seen them since 2001 or so. They used to play at this little bar in our little college town in the midwest 3-4 times a year. There would only be like 30-40 people there.
My favorite was after a break when they would come back and play along with a snoop dogg track... then they would slowly fade out the track and the short chubby guy would rap. The drummer could seriously hold down hip hop.
I'm not really into much hip hop, but it was fun.
