I can't tell from the pics. Generally, and especially if you have a small garden, you can keep an eye on the bananas and remove them before they burst and everything should be ok. It's likely to be new calyxes developing is what you're seeing and have no problems at all.

three plants in the tent.. I will try to get some better pix today i'll fiddle with this camera till I figure it out. Im almost positive I see bananas.. never seen anything on my 3 plants that look like this.. if its ok to remove them, i'll just get the tweezers out and pull them off. Ive found about half a dozen so far, seem to be only on the main cola. I'll get those new pix up before I start plucking anything. Thank you for the advice and i'd appreciate if u check back this evening for the better quality pix. I feel pretty stupid to not be able to use the macro mode on this camera hehe.

yea man that's a late term hermie! i had it happen to a forearm sized cola outdoor last year! i chopped the whole plant(but i have 15ish around it) to prevent hermie genes contamination! if your not lookin to reproduce for seed than u could jus cut and manage the male stigmas, but i would cut it now to prevent your other buds from have unnecessary shitty seeds in them. it'll still smoke fine, so the question to u is...is it worth risking it for 2 more weeks of growing ..prolly not

pull them with the tweezers. or you can chop early, if the buds are full sized then you are just waiting for amber trichs. the potency and yield will be ok, maybe just a little on the paranoid/racey end of the high.

Thanks everyone who has replied. I sure appreciate it. I tweezed out the bananas in the top cola that I could see last nite before lights out. The plant hasnt finished 6 weeks of flowering yet.. trichs are still clear.. bleh. I noticed a nanner in a lower bud this morning. So I guess its time to chop it and take the loss? This sux bad haha first grow.. this plant is 4 foot tall. twice the size easy of my other two.. Oh.. does this mean theres a good chance her clones will also hermie? I have like 4 of them growing sigh..

Being inexperienced here I have a lot of things running thru my mind atm lol.. Cut the buds off that have the nanners and just watch and keep doing that? or if it was in your tent. would you chop the whole thing? sigh im really bummed atm.

Outside is not safe here. I live in the boonies but I run a business in my garage. I do have a new room I was finishing off for flowering. I dont have anything but cfl lighting at the moment to put in there if I move the plant. Would ya move it in there for a bit.. or would that still pollinate my plants in the tent via ventilation etc? I took a piece of green leaf off the top cola and put it under my pocket scope.. trichs are at least 50% cloudy so I guess if I do chop it wouldnt be a total loss. I need a decision tonite tho as the plant is dry and needs either feeding or chopping lol. I feel better knowing I will at least be able to catch a buzz when its cured if I do chop tonite. I found more nanners about 30 min ago btw.. two of them which I removed. Bout two hours left to make a decision.. open to more suggestions and thank you !

Definitely a hard call...it is best to chop because that ish will stay around unless you clean up really well after you let that grow through...good luck either way buddy!

Yes I would chop it, if that pollen gets into your fans/ventilation system, it can stay active for a long time and pollinate future grows.

Thanks guys, I harvested her over the course of the evening. even got impatient and dried one bud fast and am sitting here burning it in my bong.. have to say.. it smells fruity and sweet, tastes fruity.. I cant wait to try some of it properly cured now. I have a nice buzz tho ;) Some pix of the harvest at the end of my first grow journal if you like to see her.

what happened to the lil scales that I used to be able to give rep with to folks who helped? ugh..

unfortunately your clones from that plant will run the real chance of being hermie! but im not positive bout clones but if ya do grow them i would think that only a percentage might be hermie......i kno this to be true with seeds and offspring but clones are a different animal..so i wouldn't be surprised if all or most all of the clones show hermie in the same patterns in the late stages as the mother plant! and now you've experienced that disappointment..is it worth continuing with those genetics or maybe time to cut and run and look for a new strain! or use your other healthy plants!

Yup probably right, that sux too. I have a big clone from her thats been topped and nearing ready to flower lol.. and a couple other clones as well. Luckily I have two other strains left and some more seeds from all 3 strains. I guess i'll let these clones grow and see what happens, but I doubt I'll cut any more from that strain. Shame too, she was such a big healthy fast growin plant.
