Part one was in the DIY forum. See https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/184018-trashcan-grow.html I could no findout how to move it but CFL seemed the better spot.

My biggest change is the light tube. I took a glass tube added two CPFs and placed in center of grow. My plants look good on the tops and outsides but the middle had no buds.. Just 5 days with the tube in the middle the inside on the plants now have buds.

The glass tube needed a fan on top for cooling. I droped a 9v dc tranformer in the bottom and wired the lights in. The plants can just touch it with no problem.

The biggest problem is when I leave for a week and a top bud gets burnt by a light. I flood the can about an inch deep of water and they look good when I get home. I wired on light and it helps. I am going to try putting them in pickle jars.

Ha!

Thats cool. Right up next to the old Zenith console TV grow.

Dam weed grows everywhere, I wonder why some people have so much trouble.

dude,

Love the garbage can. I almost went this route myself. I essentially made a garbage can out of flashing and duct tape, gave me some extra height. Maybe we should create a sub-forum, sheet metal growers(ha ha).

first indoor grow that worked. I picked a bud and dried it just for two days and it still did the job very good.
