At about what age and size should we trans plant out seedlings into a larger receptacle? I know the root system has to be well developed but much more than that, I'm not sure?

if its in a small cup you can always turn the cup over and look at the roots. you want to change them up before they become rootbound like this plant


you want roots to be around the ball but still white and thriving

I like to transplant as soon as the foliage gets as wide as the pot.

it would depend on the size of your seedling tray/pot , i normally transplant at about 3 weeks
