How much time do you recommend letting them harden off before putting them directly under HID's? Ive heard it isnt recommended to put newly transplanted clones directly into such extreme lighting.

Once in a while you might come across a plant that is sensitive and burns a bit when switching to HPS. You can put them around the outside edges for a day or two but they will pull through either way.

If a plant burns after a transplant into hot soil you can leach it to take the edge off but you can end up waterlogging it since the roots aren't established yet.

By no means am i trying to answer for him, but if you look at that 1st set of pictures, he's using Roots Organic. It has a fancier bag now. I also think i remember on his youtube channel, he has a transplant vid and i "think" he mentioned using the FF Happy Frog organic potting soil, i could be wrong on that tho. It would work fine tho. I think all your really looking for is a coco based organic mix, the peat stuff has some ph dropping problems after a minute without lime. I hope this helps.

Aka robin hood, i mix two ready to use soil up and slightly break all the parts of the soil that are still in ball like fOrm. When im done with that i water it twice. When i transplant i use that method where i put the stem inbetween my ring finger and my middle finger and turn it over (upside down) and the container will slide right out. Theres a mix super thrive it acts as a root hormon really good stuff to kick it right up and happy but flush the youngin after. With transplanting dont baby the thing or youll really f up
