transplanting

hi i got couple of questions for yall:
i have about 3 or 4 clones that just popped roots and i need to put them in something, but i need to transplant them into a hydroton ebb and flow table in about 5 weeks when my current grow will be finished. im trying to conserve on the electricity bill so im just gonna veg with cfls and a t5 for like 5 weeks and lst the plant till i can transplant. if i grow in soil will it be a problem rinsing the roots and putting them in a basket and put hydroton all around in the table? im doing a flood n drain setup. should i make a bubbleponics type setup? how much would that cost?

I've read that going from soil to hydroponics or aeroponics, while doable, is quite the ordeal. It's real hard to not cause transplant shock when dealing with the roots that way.
