Transplanting

I just transplanted from the ground into a pot. I watered it right after transplanting. When should I water again? should I keep the soil moist, or just water it like a regular plant? Also is it safe to use nutes now, or should I wait till stress is over? Its outdoors, temps 75-85. 5 weeks old, 10 inches tall. Thanks : )

I would probably start giving it light doses of nitrogen, depending on what kind of ferts you are planning on using.

so you moved it from your yard inside, do i copy his right? if so and you watered after doing so you won't need to water till the topsoil dried up. also check the dirt sticking out of your pots drain holes, that should never feel socked, and you shouldn't water till this is starting to get really light moist only. so does feel to moist anymore but hasn't turned dry colored yet. i know, it is tricky to hit if you are not too green thumbed but a good point to figure out the water needs of your baby.

after that week start easy on them, and no time releast nutes please;) get some good stuff from a hydro store;)

Well I may have possibly killed 3 out of 3 transplant, im so fking pissed. The first two, wasnt my fault, put them on my roof for added sunlight, came home and wind knocked pot over, and all the soil was out. But I researched alot more, and took my time, but went today to check on my transplant, and it looks shtty, all the leaves are still green, but it looks like it got knocked out, leaning over pretty damn bad. It was an awesome looking plant to, out of the 3 that grew together, this one was about 4 inches taller then those, and had a nice stem going. Man o man, no more transplanting or growing for me, I suck at life : (

On a funny note, the tree I had the transplant in, broke.. lol. I was up there checking on it, and when I put my hand on the pot, the whole limb snapped. I came crashing down. thank god I had the pot in my hand, and was able to coushin the plant wiht my body. Didnt seem to be injured at all. But I moved it to another tree, this one may be more sturdy : ) Probably going to die anyways. You guys think I shoudl get some Superthrive perhaps? I researched on it for an hour last night, heard good bad, good bad, so on. Not sure what to believe.

: )

Okay so I got back from looking at the seedling that I transplanted, and Im not sure what to say. The top leafs are looking alright and starting to pirk back up, but the lower leafs look almost black in color, and twisted. Not sure if its heat stress, or what. Perhaps I should PH the soil?
