Comments-

I remember the first time I smoked TW. It was probably around 1990 and weed was scarce at the time. A guy I knew found something he called Trainwreck and sold it to me. When I looked at the bag I was extremely disappointed because it was all leaf. I couldn't find anything else at the time so I went ahead with the deal, took it home and smoked it.
Long story short; I couldn't believe how strong this leaf was. Fucking unbelievable for leaves.
After that, it was a long time before I smoked it (or its knockoffs) again but eventually, it came around fairly often and it was always a treat. At this time, it's probably been since 2003 or so that I've sampled some real TW so i was happy to try out Greenthumbs version to compare. I never grew it back in the day so I can't compare growth patterns, but as far as taste and high go, Greenthumbs is the real deal. I really hope some of the old school TW growers will try this one and let me know what they think about its growth characteristics.

Anyway, I can see why this one is listed as one of the all time greats. Great taste, great buzz, and a very solid yield, make this one a true elite. This stuff rips the head off many seasoned smokers, including myself. I would probably put this in the top 5-10 strains i've ever smoked.

Final Comment-
A very good medical strain for pain. In small doses I could see this being a very fun recreational strain but if you over do it, you're probably going to want to sit down for a while and relax.

Man… I love doing this!

Mine is week stemmed. Needs to be held up even in preflower. Was yours the same? All I know from every seed I grew, shortly after preflower it needed lots of support..

Humm? Every bean was that way..
Thanks for the reply doc?
Or were you referring to the pic?
Sorry, referring to the picture....

And, yes. Needs lots of support. I heard thats another reason its called trainwreck. If you leave it on its own without support, it will look like a trainwreck.
But that's probably just another myth????
