Trainwreck Arcata Cut (Greenthumb Seeds)

that looks like a nice grow sir, nice job Dr. Gruber. I have not had the TW arcata, but I have created my own strain from that variety of trainwreck. I bought a bunch of seeds and made my own A-train (afghan kush x TW arcata)..then I added a little something from Resevoir Seeds line. The threesome was a success..lol.

I've received 3 different kinds of Train Wreck before and the first stuff was flatout amazing. The buds were perfect! Dried and cured properly, sticky, dense, the aroma from the buds was strong but not overwhelming.
It had that distinct Train Wreck smell, you could not mistake it for anything else if you've smelled real TW before. That and the potency was very good. Capable of being higher but still good.

Ive smoked plenty of Trainwreck and its knockoffs and though its been a while these are right on the money.
Can you describe the smell you're talking about? I always have problems comparing it to something so others know what Im talking about.

Dr Gruber: I can't remember that smell resembling anything else. It's just very unique and it's own smell I think. Sorry I couldn't be more help. It's been a little while since I've seen some.

That was not on purpose. Next time i run this I hope to have it dialed in much better.
I did learn a lot on this run and took plenty of notes.

Okay last 14 days you really need ot make a organic tea. Molasses/berries/aloe vera/coconut water ect. use that to feed her. egg shells are pure calcium. research a nice mix im gonna start now so in 5 weeks i have it ready. you want to make sure she has all the goodies and using organic you dont have to flush. But hey bro really i love your plant. reminds me allot of outdoor grows. sometimes you dont get them enough nutes and they feed on the leaves which is good. that is why i dont like cutting anything off my plants. let them die when plant needs them. once in bloom i might cut 1-3 nodes from bottom if they wont get enough light. but never till i know from looking first. When i do a scrog then you know everything belwo the scrog when buds start is toast so i would then leave 1 node under and chop the rest over several days. dont over shock her.
Thanks!

Do you use the 20-20-20 for veg and the 10-30-20 for flowering? Or do you mix them? And what do you use the 30-10-10 for?
I primarily use the 20-20-20 for veg and the first few weeks of flower, then switch to the 10-30-20. If, during veg, they look like they need more nitrogen I hit them with the 30-10-10. I have run the 20-20-20 all the way through flower before and it worked very well. The best results ive had was when ive used the 20-20-20 all the way with only a few feedings of the 10-30-20.

How the Trainwreck looking?
Trainwreck is nearly all down. P3 is the strongest and tastiest of the 3.
Doc's TW is a true elite.

I appreciate the info Dr! Very helpful! I might get some Jack's!

You said that Plant #1 was put into flowering at about 12", how tall was it when you took it down? Did you weigh it up?

Not bad of a stretch. Do you have any pictures of the plant before it was taken down or other pictures other than the ones you've already posted?
