And so it seems, the bullshit gets deeper! According to Freedom of Seeds, Big Budha Seeds has trademarked " Cheese" as a strain name for seeds! Personally, i'll boycott every seed company that does this, and when they've all done it, they can go fuck themselves, I'll grow strictly my own!
This is from FOS posting:

We have received news that the Big Buddha Seed Co have been granted full European rights over the trademark name Cheese in relation to cannabis seeds.
That’s right - in a bid to corner the market the Big Buddha Seed Co have managed to convince that they were in fact the first to create the strain 'Cheese' in seed form.
What does that mean for Cheese cannabis strains?
It means that any other seedbank that feature strains with Cheese in the name soon won’t be able to do so.
It's our understanding that the Big Buddha Seed Co will be licensing the name 'Cheese' - granting permission to select seedbanks to use the name. As yet we're not sure who those seedbanks are likely to be however.
The implications of this are huge however. It potentially means no more Cheese from the following seed banks:
Barney’s Farm, Dinafem, Green House Seeds, Dutch Passion, Delicious Seeds, Female Seeds, Royal Queen Seeds, and Humboldt…
We’re not sure what other seed banks have up their sleeves, but no doubt we are set to see some interesting changes in the seed world!
