the rule I always read is 400 for 3x3, 600 is a 4x4. Anyting bigger is 2 600s or 1000 watters. If you wanna be cool you use a 600 for a 3x3 or 4x4 and multiple 600s for anyting else.

(3X3=9) (400/9=44.444 watts/sq.ft) ur second equation =37.5 watts/sq.ft.
IM currently @ 66.77777
But for what im trying to achieve and my actual grow space inside my grow room im going to add a 600 and a smaller tub to perpetually have 2 tubs in flower motion.
YES cooling and additional ODOR control is going to be neccesary.

I am confused or stoned, I have a 10' x 6' grow room= 60 sqft. So 60 x 50 = 3000. I will need 3 1000 watters??

I have 2 400 watters now seeing I have read 400 watt covers 4'x4'. I am thinking I am ok seeing the unused area is for moving in the garden, would you agree or should I upgrade a bit?

Thanks

I think all U should be worried about is the actual space U have ur plants growing IN. 16X50=800watts/sq.ft.
