I run 1212 clu48. Ez ceep coolIMG_20170617_230931.jpg

What does everybody think about drivers getting a little warm is it natural or is it from pulling too much

I posted a thread saying I need help for driver

96watt two parallel chips running off of a 700 milliamp itch 120-watt 56 volt with load without load on multimeter gives me 64 volts drivers getting awfully warm even onScreenshot_2017-06-23-06-54-09.png one chip.
Please forgive me for replying on your threat seems to be this is the citizen spot just seen people talking about these chips and figured I'd reply thank you

Define too warm. My drivers are warm to the touch, remote mounted on my drywall. IR temp reader gives a case temp of between 95-105f. But my room also has a dedicated 5000btu ac running constant temps of 64-70f. So mine stay rather cool (when your talking about a mini power transformer) constantly running. If you have them mounted directly to your light, they are definitely going to run hotter because they are exposed to more heat surrounding the driver. It all depends on your setup. And after looking twice, id say you need to go back to day one and take that fire hazard thing you call a grow light apart and build an actual aluminum frame. That things going to burn down your house as is.

Alright guys n gals. I didnt update yall on the going abouts of my grow. I chopped down the 9 lb hammer few weeks back. Let her dry till consistent daily 54% RH in the dry box. Took her all of 9 days. Then de-stemmed further, and into jars. Her total weight came to 6.7 oz. Couldve been more but i sacrificed some smaller buds to the trim for edibles. Makes the butter/extract nice and potent. Still, not a bad harvest tho. Actually sent this one out to get tested so i will update with actual lab results in a few days. As well as a pic of the bud within few hrs.

Alright ill be going dark for a while. Got 2 months before the next crop but it should be a doozy. Ill be back here in about a month. Maybe before then if i get this next light in time. Next crops going to be sour kush and incredible bulk. Both should finish at the same time. :bigjoint::cool::grin::weed:

Alright quick update for my fellow growers. Got another light rail fixed up. Shes running 8 clu48-1212s; 4) 2700k and 4) 3000k. The bitch is banging. Got her positioned right down the middle with the other 2 rails holding the 1818s, on the out sides. Ill take some pics tonight when they kick back on. Spent like 8 hours in there yesterday getting her all hung up with the new rail mount system i built. Had to get everything just right n when it was said n done, i figured out i wont be able to remove the plants from the veg area into thw flower room any longer as the plants have well overgrown the size of the entryway. So. Im going to have to figure out a way to take down the faux wall i put up, and maybe diy another faux wall type idea, but this time maybe do it with tent like material so i can put it up and remove it very easily. Like a tent. Got some major renovations to the grow site coming shortly. But as far as flower room right now, both the incredible bulk and sour kush have been succesfully cloned and clones are starting to revert back to veg. So good news there. Both plants have some very nice crowns starting to really take shape. So many tops. I will count em and take measurements for you guys later too. Should be about halfway through these girls' cycle.

I'm running the incredible bulk at the moment. 2nd crops due in the next two weeks. Be good to see how she turns out under your supervision.

Oh and I might of touched myself when I saw the lab results.. sry. Just wish I had that sort of facility available.

4.

Well in a way that makes me feel better you said about 105 maximum with your AC on the thing is from what I've told talk to been told I mean from other people that it's not thermal runaway it's just pulling too much there 3:00 amp chips on a 700 milliamp driver 64 volt maximum driver running 50 volt chips and parallel I'm trying to pull out as much power as I can the drivers supposed to be 120 watts but there's no 120-watt driver in the world that has just 65 Watts I suppose it was a mislabeled driver that's how it was sold to me. Screenshot_2017-07-12-06-54-29.png that not the driver but thats is the name and a nother driver but same name of

Thats whats up dude. What have you gotten off her? What size was she the first crop? How long veg? Whats she sitting under? This big ol bitch had all of 3 months vegging. Had a nice canopy of about 3 ft by 2.5 ft when she was switched. Now shes at almost 4 ft by 3.5 ft. Major crowns. Also cal mag deficiency going on but itll straighten out in like a week. Just fed her super heavy. As far as tops, shes got a staggering 58 top bud sites. One of which is going to be a fucking monster of a bud. The crown this branch has is double the size of all the other crowns. And the diameter of the stem, is beyond thick. Its like a tree branch. And yea dude, lab testing is legit. Gets your percentages, cleanliness, close up trich pic. Its the only way to go if ur in a legal state. That way u know what u got. I want my percentages to hit the mid to high 20s on this next crop. N try and hit the 30s the one after that.

As promised. A diy cob pic. This shit is stanky as hell already and were only 4, going on 5 weeks in this run. Pictured is the sour kush on the right and the incredible bulk on the left. Bottom 2 are both sour kush, which has 71 top bud sites and isnt even 3 ft tall. The flower room is now complete for now. May end up adding more cobs later but right now im very happy with the setup and cant wait to taste the fruits of my labor. She running:

1) HVGC-320-1050A with 8 CLU048-1212's half 2700k and half 3000 on that 4 ft rail.
1) HVGC-320-1400A with 4 CLU048-1818's half n half 3000k/4000k
1) HLG-320-1400A with the same setup as the other 1400A.

All 3 are wired on 220v input. Super efficient. And my grow room is still only hitting the low 80s with lights and ac on. Low 60s during dark. Starting to see some beautiful purples coming in on the sour kush. I presume she will be similiar to the previously cropped sour og. Its basically the same strain just different names. 2 different clones as well. Hopefully heavier yield tho. She should be, as she has about 2.5 sq ft more canopy than her predecessor.

Nowthen, I had 3 from seed, vegged 4-5 weeks but I'm tempted to say closer to 5. Don't keep notes I'm afraid..
So one plant I Tried a mini scrog, the screen was 18"x24" so 3 feet of square area. The other two I topped once and let them ride.
I had them in by cob side (9x citizen clu058 1825s 3500k @90cri 660w) 4x4 ft space. In coco, 18ltr cloth pots. Feed was canna coco a and b with an addition of sulphate of potash dissolved and magnesium.
I also found the stems to be fairly thick.
So I'm unsure on how long they went til finish, I was waiting for the hairs to recede some more but by the time they did the trichs where 80% amber. Normally with previous grows under different lights and different strains I find my self waiting for the trichs after the hairs have receded. Maybe its the strain or maybe its the cobs, not sure, will pay more attention to this over the next harvests.

So what I pulled. From the tiny scrog screen I pulled 9.5oz and from the other two I pulled 13.5, making a total of 23oz, but that's not including about 2oz of smaller stuff which was lower down on the two taller plants. That weight is dry and taken after full trim and destalk and a two week cure. Not a long cure I know, but certainly dry, I'm very fussy about what I call dry and what I call trimmed.

I have to say I didn't find the plant amazing, not like advertised, but then most things are not as advertised. But they were very greasy, very resinous. Pre harvest I didn't think there was anywhere near that weight, especially on the scrog so I was super happy with that. To smoke I and everyone else was very impressed. Lovely taste, couch lock high, which can be expected with lots of amber trichs. Smells great too.

I will be running it for a while to see if I keep her going. The clones I have in at the moment don't look to be producing as well.

Will try and dig out the photo that's kicking about later and take some of the current crops. I have 4 bulk in early flower under the cobs and 4 in very late flower under the Quantums. I'm off out for the day so perhaps this evening when lights are on I will post some on here.

Sorry I don't have a journal or anything to take a look at.
