that would be a safe amount for a soil grow but to hot for dwc

When its light green on the leaf and dark green veins, its most likely a iron deficiency.

you've recovered well

you could have a very light feeding plant that is nutrient sensitive

it might be better to air on the side of caution and dilute the mix 20%

Also be very careful with GH nutes, I always use half of the recommended dose because its sooo high for DWC.

when it breaks and you buy another get an EC pen

the ppm meter is only meant to be a point of reference

if you measure today and it says 600ppm and measure tomorrow and it says 550ppm you know to feed more

don't get hung up on the numbers as the mean nothing except a fictitious point of reference

Won't have time to change res tonight but I will try 20% diluted full recommendation tomorrow. But any idea what would be causing the dark/purple stem from midway to top. When I started adding calmag it seemed that new growth would get farther before trailing to purplish but it def did not completely correct it by any means.

I'm assuming your suggestion will correct it, but the purple stem is the one symptom I got pushed in every direction trying to read online.

And if it wasn't a hydroponic brand I would let them get off with their recommendation being ok for soil hehe.

So the last two days I've been adding calmag I've been getting about an inch/24hour of growth. Is that a bit low? Wondering if when I give full nutrient I willlaugh at that.

Sorry if I seem untrusting, but I'm sure you can tell from the crispy pic my horror so I just want to make sure you noticed everything as I do respect your opinion I've read you in a lot of threads. But I do still have slight burn on tips of new growth. If you noticed I apologized, I just don't want to jump the gun on goin back up in nutrient.

And side question any experience growing with newer LED vs HPS for flower? Hoping my harvest trumps my buddy using 600w HPS per plant. And by trump I mean equal weight better potency flavor. Same clones.

purple stems alone indicate nothing

purple in the leaf area is when you ask unless its a purple strain and meant to turn colors

most plants will throw a little purple on the stems its natural for weed

if you feel safer ramping it up over a few days then do that

just keep watchihg the reservoir ph and ppm daily

as long as it keeps dropping ppm and ph is rising there asking for more

Oh lord I was laying in bed about to rest easy thinking the 10ml/A and 5ml/b 2ml/calmag I threw in each bucket would hold them over until tomorrow when I could do 80% recommended. I hope it's not a new issue like bugs....

Although laying here I'm also thinking that may not have been a good idea as I don't know what the plant ate and what it didn't. Could be making it more out of whack. Probably should either only add properly mixed water or fresh water in between bucket changes.

And I know what color with light off I'll get you a pic in the morn. If it's the same it's going to be dark green.
