Everyone whats up... Man i was sittin here smokin right, and i started to think to myself.... what if u could grow a plant upside down!!! Hahaha.

I wondering if it was possible???

Like stress train it to grow down. have your plants up high and your lights around and below it. if someone has tried it or knows if someone has or its possible, and how it turned out.

P.S. if anyone had any crazy grow ideas or any iteresting feel free to share.

i dont think flowering plants can grow upside down. Youre thinking of tomaterz and strawberries

There are lots of examples floating around of people growing the plant downwards. Lots of examples with tomatoes as well, which i think inspired the move to trying it with pot

Like i mean plants high on shelves or something in pots right. basically just bend them down. i guess kinda an example. you know those hanging plants u put on a porch or something, and they have leaves and branches hangin over the sides, kinda like that. but with just the main stem. Thats the only logical way i could think of?? Any ideas??

I also wonder how the whoremoans would be effected,, like in topping u would be redirecting the whoremoan to grow more top colas, i wonder how it would and what would effect on the plant???

Yeah, the pot sits up high and the hole for the stalk is at the bottom

doesn't really seem to be too useful though, the plants anturally try and grow upwards so it would be a task of constantly training them.

Unless your doing indoor, in which case you really dont want any dried up leaves falling onto the 1000w light bulb on the ground



just not worth it imo

I was talkin bout indoor more. And thanks for the pics tip top. Idk i just thought gravity would have kinda talkin care of the training. So i guess some people do think alike when there high. haha. Does anyone know of any other bizarre growing techniques or just off the wall stuff. feel free to post. :)

Yeah that is a good point! A definite NO NO. I guess there isnt any real benefit in it is there?

if you want to burn down your grow room i guess there is benefit :lol:


LST + SCReen Of Green (SCROG) + lolipopping produce some amazing results... theres some SCROG thread up in the grow section with mad pics


basically you veg a plant and train the tops of the nodes so they are level, and you keep tucking them through the screen... when you go flowering you have this crazy bush contained just under the screen, and all the beautiful colas displayed prominently on top of the screen sucking up all the good light... then lolipopping is cutting off lower growth (that doesnt get light) to induce growth at the tops of the plant.
