Can't that show just be an easy audition for getting your kids taken away? Those parents have serious issues. If we had parent licensing we wouldn't have that problem.

Now you can go ahead and call me George Orwell for suggesting parent licensing but I honestly do think it would make this country better.

They should put them all in jail, child abuse of the worst kind IMO.

And people wonder why little girls and boys get kidnapped, raped, murdered,... This show is disgusting.

it's a show on tlc about these pagent girls and their parents. some of the participants are infants and they will put makeup and fake hair on toddlers and they wear bikinis and elaborate tacky dresses... it's sick. i feel bad for the kids and i think the parents are legitimately screwed up in the head. half of the parents are disgusting heffers who look like they are trying to live through their kids because their lives are spent. the others are obsessed with having the cuttest kid, as if it matters. they spend all their money on trying to get this dumb crown that doesn't matter for shit. som eof them are broke too and they will spend1000s on a ugly dress. they need professional help no doubt.

its' a really bad message to give to young girls that being "cute" is the most important thing. in reality, we need to use our brains.

It's so sad when patients and parents come in the dentist office asking for "flippers" AKA fake ass teeth that are so creepy and look like adult teeth. None of the dentists I work for will do this!

its a really intense sport. seriously. those girls are like extreme gymnasts. Plus they can get scholarships and whatnot. not very useless.

the whole pageant scene is disgusting. it's not even just pageants anymore, though. i saw an online ad for kohl's the other day with this little girl in a cute kiddie dress but the pose they had her in was very adult. not even in a sexual way, just "too adult" for a playful kid's ad, and the amount of makeup she had on would have been overkill for a college student. she reminded me of suze orman. very very creepy.
