To much c02 ?

Well I was wondering on how I would measure the c02 I'm making in my closet for the grow. Should I be concerned about making to much c02? Can a plant get 2 much c02? And if so what are the effects?

Yeah it can have to much. How are you making it? To be honest I really doubt you are making to much but you could surprise me. You can by c02 testers at the hydro shop.

you want your co2 level at 1500 ppm. yes you can poison them with too much co2. If your making it with yeast I wouldnt worry about too much co2. If your using a tank or a burner I would get a co2 ppm counter.

The ideal is 1500 to 2000ppm of Co2. Using home made Co2 it is hard to overdose anything on the amount produced. Plants don't use Co2 at night. Most homes have about 275 to 350 ppm and out side is 400 to 550.

Co2 will increase your yield!

LOL, you don't have to worry about brewing too much co2. those recipes don't do much of anything, except make you feel like you're really using co2!

I've read that 10,000 PPM is used sometimes to try to kill bugs like spidermites. I've read that it doesn't work very well, but that isn't my point. When they raise the PPM to 10,000, thay can only do it for 12 hours, because it will kill the plants if it's that high for an extended period of time. I haven't looked into CO2 use very much, but if i remember correctly, it's like around 2,000 PPM, like was mentioned above. I also think i remember 3,500 being optimum if you have enough light power to make use of it. CO2 isn't practical, unless you have a certain amount of 'lumens per square foot'
