To grow or not to grow

ok guys i live in a house with roommates i want to start growin but i dont want to cause problems i own the house they r just livin here. How do i go about growin i saw this http://www.sunlightsheds.com/SLS-Cool-Cab-Plug-N-Play-HID.html and thought it was awesome i just dont want to drop 2k on it or run outa room so i need some idea im tired of all my guys runnin dry. should i make one myself or use the cab? if i should make myself how do i go about it? i live in florida so cant get medicaly i dont know about equipment at all so any tuts or advice will help alot.
