You could fit a plasma in there. I'm not an expert by any means on lights and the only reason I ended up with a plasma is because my tech geek buddy brought it up to me. I got to try mine commitment free. That being said, I love it. The temps are tremendously cooler than HID. A plasma should work great in a small area like that. Just put a small fan blowing on it and it will stay cool to the touch.
