you got to flush 3 days to two weeks before harvest. it will improve taste greatly. and you dont want to be smoking those chems. if your using coco ur ph should be around 5.8 and when in flower i let my ph slowley drift down to around 5 since the acidic levels in coco are raising. you should deff flush with ph water before your harvest as far as watering in dark i dont suggest it even though its only 48-72 hrs it can induce a small amount of PM and that would be annoying to get at the end of all the hard work good luck! let us know how she turns out

I grow in a wilma using hydroton (I recommend this for your next run) and I do not flush any amount of plain water through my plants.

I reduce my feed strength down to around half my normal strength.

I have been on both sides of this argument at one time or another until I didn't flush and dried and cured my bud in the same way I normally would and there was no bad taste, no black ash and no pops or crackles.
Until you try NOT flushing and flushing, I don't think you can have a true opinion of both sides.

By not flushing, my plants stay green until I harvest and don't develop late flowering deficiencies from lack of nutes which in itself causes stress at a crucial time in the plants final ripening phase.

Coco can be used at pH5.5-6.5 but I would shoot for 5.8-6.2.

Yup, most that actually try it both ways find no difference. Put another way, there's simply no reason to flush before harvest.

arrhh im genna live on the high side n not flush makes sence as im genna cure as well been reachercing for days n its 50 50 with ppls views so yeh guess ill try doing both n see how my own views are so does every one go with the 48 hour dark period with no feed b4 harvest as all this research is killing my eyes haha

I turn off for 3 days and don't feed. Then chop chop.

The reason behind a prolonged dark period is that light breaks down THC and the dark is where is replenishes THC. So cutting down after a long darkness means the THC content will be a minute % bigger by chopping after the darkness.
