Harvest time is just around the corner and I have a question....

When my girls are due we usually gra a plant completely trim and emove the buds then dry them on screens ! However I have seen that many people just trim around the buds & leave them attached to the plant to hang dry then when dry they just cut off the buds.

What way is better ???? :peace:

umm what i do (outdoors) is about a day or 2 before ill trim off leaves off ready buds and take them off to dry on some chicken wire..i let the unready buda usually near the bottom of the plant grow until they look done...your not supposed to trim off fan leaves or any leaves during flowerin...some people say it brings in more light to the buds and helps but in reality its a noob move that causes stress and stunt in growth..but if ur harvesting within a day or 2 u can do that..both ways are good and both receive the same amount of bud potency usually...up to you..just make sure your harvesting within a day or 2 ...you dont want a plant with no leaves nd just buds for more than 2 days

they dry slower and more even and imo are a smoother all around smoke if you leave them on the stems and dry them that way... i have trimed the buds cut them off and dried them, hung the whole plant to dry then trim, and trimed the fan leaves and buds while leaving them on the stems and let them dry that way.. out of the 3 my best results were with trimming them completely on the stems and letting them dry, then cutting the buds off... thats just me though... im sure someone will disagree and have another way... your choice really.,.. experiment and see which you prefer...

I go in the day before and trim off all the fans (throw away) then I trim off all the bud leafs and set aside for butter (1oz of trim=1box brownies). Then I wait until the light have been off for 11.5 hrs ( just before lights on) I cut her down. SO all the the nast is in the roots and not up top. I clip off the branches and hang on clothes hangers (metal).
