Tips for a pc grower, strain selection for 3 plant tiny SOG

Hi guys, this will be my fifth grow now.

Ive got my PC case set up how I want it, Its 45cm Tall x 47cm Wide x 20cm Depth I've got a 70w Hps mounted at the top along with two 20w 6400k ionic/odour eliminating bulbs either side of it and some super powerful 120mmx38mm fans (scythe GT these things are incredible), 2 exhaust and 1 intake. Temps are great, 25 degrees C with lights on and no light leaks other than from the rear fan.

Now that the space is set up how I want it its time to talk strains/ grow method!

Im planning on doing autos as I like them for their fast turnaround and tiny size. As I can just fit 3x 1.5L square pots in the case, im thinking of doing 3 very small autos and growing them straight up with minimal side branching and LST. On my list so far is:

• Nirvana - Northern Lights auto
• Nirvana - Auto Blue Mystic auto
• Joint Doctor - Lowryder (not sure which one)

Does anyone have any tips on how I can keep them short? Small pot size is meant to help and I'll keep them as close to the light as possible to prevent too much stretching, anything I'm missing?

Additional info is I'll be growing in Canna coco mixed with a little perlite and using Advanced Nutrients - Jungle Juice nutrients. Total grow height available for the plant is around 30cm in the middle to 35cm on the outside, thats where I start feeling the heat from the hps.

Small pot size will keep the plants small, but will obviously affect your yield and increase the amount of times you need to water. I really don't think you have enough room for 3 plants. I'm running 2 plants in my grow and even though I have to LST constantly they're still pretty tall with still no bud development. I'm using a 14 cup pot too so it's pretty small as well. At this point as well I'm having to water just about everyday.

I personally wouldn't get Nirvana seeds. Check the grows out. I've been seeing a few lately of late flowering plants or they just don't flower at all unless you switch the lights. Specifically Blue Mystic, but Nirvana has a history about this. I would stick with World of Seeds, Dinafem or Delicious Seeds for your autos. Lowryder is ok I guess, but it's pretty low in thc compared to the autos on the market now.

You'll pretty much have no choice but to SCROG. So you're going to want to look at that.

I've scrogged before and I dont like it, theres too much messing around and although my yield was the same as normal, it was in many small nugs rather than a 5 or 6 big ones which made the plants a pain in the bum to trim.

Heres a picture of a 'Thunder bloody mary' from Samsara seeds I grew ( I know I nute burnt it quite bad, learn from your mistakes), it was around than 30cm tall and In a 3L pot, In my space I could just about fit 3 of these in, id be happy even with 2. I'd grow it again, but I didnt really like the smoke and I'd like to try something new. Basically Im looking for something that will give me a similar plant to this and a nice all round smoke.
