time for experiments

i been gone from this section for a while working on other ascepts of my skills

well i have moved i am no longer in a illegal state .....the limitations that were placed on my experiments have been removed

i got super soil made for auto plants (3 times stronger then avg super soil)
before i was limited to only 7 gallons of soil .....was doing 6-10 oz for me depending on the strain

i am bumping it up to 10 gallons this time ......5/6 of super soil and 5/4 of bag soil
4 pots
3 with super soil (1 has ffof 1 has humboldt 1 has roots green feild)
the 4th pot is going to be just bag soil FFOF with it getting major feeding like the photo plants (call it the control)

the seeds just got started in the greenhouse (jiffy plug green house) if patterns hold 4/5 days from now the plants will go into the 10 gallon pots

going to fallow my standard feed augment for the super soil and the control i am going to fallow the standard photo feed

side note to anyone use my info ......the b-52 has been replaced with super thrive the vitamino worked well but the b-52 had better numbers in the end ......i would use vitamino again just increase the grow i would add to it by 5 mls a gallon


i post pics and results .........the theory is the extra soil and water retention should increase the over all yeild by 1/2 ........i am looking for about 14 to 16 per plant

yes i have accounted for the strains being different .....i grown them before the soil i have has been tweaked with heavier Cal because of the strains .......feeding should be pure supplemental just to push the plant

experiment 1.........in door
blueberry bliss auto seed..........only one that made out fo 4 strains started this round
super soil in 1/2 of a 10 gallon planter other half is Humboldt soil (note super soil is mixed 2 to 3 times stronger then sub cools due to auto plant is feed/water based plant)........proof

(jiffy house green plug sat on top of the light for heat ....cup of Co2 water was closed in with the lid....the plugs were soaked with rapid start and super thrive...hole was only a bic pen cap deep(just the stem part to it) ....seed place in hole ....put in dome ......checked on in 4 days ......6 day sawl not plant crack the plug and call dead or possible make it)
light for start was mix spec T5 2foot 8 bulb 2 10k 3 5k and 3 2k
growth was good .....slower then was in old place the temps might be to blame 10 to 15 below what others had in old set up

plant was moved to build set with 3 1000w 5k bulbs ......plant is only really on first node (at about 12 days much slower then before ....thinking temps)
plant is getting Rapid start in 2 and half times str ....mixed in with some super thrive...new brand of grow feed ......little floralicious plus (be warned it stains skin and clothes but the plants like it)

only been in the new room for 2 days and it is raised with in 20 inches of the light.....expect grow of 3 to 4 nodes in a week and the plant should fill out and cover the soil so it in shade by then

note temps is a major fact 60 seems to slow the grow down by a lot i would recommend not letting this happen until the buds are in the final ripping stage to causes the HUEs ppl crave to come out and increase your sales price (25 30 degree)


report in a week or so if i do not like the area of cover that the plant has grow to shade the soil i shall increase the rooting to 3 times grow to 1 and half the super thrive will be replace with B52 .........the lights will be chanced out to a 1500w led (890 actual drawl) but the lens mix is 90 60 so should max out

the variation of my old method
1 7 gallon pots moved to 10 gallons......hoping to see at least 1/4lb improvement moving to 1/2to 3/4 compared to 7 gallons
2 the light has reverted back to HID but the sheer number and place is better then my old LED (more lumen more par) ....expecting to see same returns with a 20% fully bud
3 feed has changing trying out the local markets to see how compare to the ones i test over 5 year ....some are better at cheaper cost others are money scams for weed boom
4 i will list the good feeds and the bad feeds once the plants run
