Tilray is voluntarily recalling three marijuana for medical purposes products due to positive bacterial testing: Sativa House Blend (Lot number: 5411 9952 8740 9514), Hybrid House Blend (Lot number: 6889 8271 1515 4149) and Indica House Blend (Lot number: 3470 2895 9118 1906).

During the course of a regular inspection conducted under the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations, Health Canada inspectors tested the above products to ensure compliance with the regulation.

Tilray’s clients should consult with a healthcare professional if they have concerns about their health related to the use of this product.

Tilray is contacting the clients who received the affected lots and is instructing them to immediately discontinue use of any marijuana from these lots that they may still have in their possession. If clients wish to destroy the product at home, they should add water to the marijuana to render it unusable, mix it with cat litter and dispose of it with regular household waste. Clients with questions regarding return of product should contact Tilray directly.

The company has indicated that it has not received any reports of adverse events associated with the use of this product. Further, Health Canada has not received any reports of adverse reactions.

Producers of marijuana for medical purposes are subject to compliance and enforcement measures similar to those in place for other producers of controlled substances. They must meet strict security, control and reporting requirements, and they are regularly inspected.

Dried marijuana is not an approved drug or medicine in Canada. Possession and use of marijuana remains illegal in Canada unless authorized under the regulations with the support of a doctor or nurse practitioner.

I wonder how much of a "REFUND" they will see..if any at all and what about the hardship of not having any meds in the mean time??
I'd be suing Health Canada and the LP supplying me.

It's weird to me that LPs are failing the mold tests. In the past I used to test what I grew. I failed some tests. But I made corrections. I had such a small budget too. I don't get it. With all that cash and state of the art facilities.

They don't and with out. Huge freezer storage. They will never handle all the waste.
Freezer storage costs big. And does not all this stuff that's considered for sale have to be put in a vault for secure safe storage ? How big of a vault would it take to appoint at least a portion to freezers full o shake?

they'd only need to separate the garbage and keep a small part of it for storage. Toss the green Keep the meds. It'll fly if it already doesn't.
I can't see anyone tossing millions in the trash.
There's just no fucking possible way they toss good hard earned cccash.

would not this oil in grams count toward their production allowances...?
they do have limits on what they can produce and store....as per the licence...?
I can't see them being able to store all of the waste products.....even if its removed from the plant material....
at a ratio of say 2 or 3 grams of goodies per oz of popcorn buds or sugar leaf...or molded bud....
especially while its not possible to sell the concentrates yet.... but they would have to at least qwiso it or start up a co2
rig....for extraction.....
would not barrels of qwiso products left in the alcohol for long term storage or even once extracted...just use up room in the vault?
that they would need for basic bud storage......
I can't see them being able to store extracted thc in barrels just laying around the facility and not secured....

get rid of the green and you're only storing 20% of what you are allowed.

Of course.....but even that would add up to more than the vaults could physically hold....if there was no market for it for a long enough time....they still have to provide.....for what ever customer base....they have...in flowers...therefore requiring that storage room in the vault.
other than peace naturals that artificially inflates their market with selling only a couple of pounds a day....and is always sold out....they could feasibly fill their vault with honey....I guess....
tweeds 95 million gram licence...still would work out to 4.75 million grams of honey oil....
I would love to see that much honey oil....would it fill a good sized pool?

as long as they keep selling out of what they grow...
the guy said 35 million worth storage. They don't use their storage as things stand..... :)
