Grow it and roll it!

Well thanks for the input, but in no way, shape or form did I "fuck myself over". The plant is still going to produce bud, and isn't that the point anyway? I know my plant won't produce massive fucking colas now, but remember my very first post in this thread, "keep in mind this is just for fun:peace:"? In the future I will try all sorts of training on the plants, and now I can compare those results to topping, maybe even combine several different techniques.

yes I gueses thats the point to grow weed. But its not just the cola's you lost. You topped while it was changing into flowering. You stressed the shit out of her, when you shouldnt. Your thc levels and your yeild is greatly hindered. Theres nothing you can do. Its still going to produce, just not nearly the same as it could. This is the problem with most noob growers, They dont know when to leave their plants alone and go ahead and do things that shouldnt be done. It would have been fine in veg. Ive learnt the less stress the better. I bet you can find millions that agree. I was the same way, theres just things to learn..

Yes, I understand. I don't think I'm some master at growing or anything, I don't want to come across as that..:) I just don't like hearing about how I fucked myself over or whatever after several people said that they do this several times with great results. I am open to criticism tho, so thanks for your input, I'll have to try that on my next grow to see what happens.

Man, to try topping once and then say you'll never to it again is a very bad idea and is a bit ignorant. However if you really don't like topping, why not try LST
Ok, let me be more specific. I don't like to top my indoor plants. I agree and stand behind the benefit of topping completely. I just don't think it's for my situation with my limited space. I have topped and fimmed my outdoor plants, and love the way they turned out, nice round bushy trees. I just am limited in my indoor grow space, so topping isn't the most effective nor efficient idea for me. Simply because my topped plant takes up as much space as two of my untopped plants, and won't produce the same amount as the two untopped plants. So, I hope this will clarify for you GreenPhoenix.

And why is it a bad idea or ignorant for me to state my opinion? If topping ain't my thang, it ain't my thang period. If you only believe in topping, I ain't finna sit here and tell you that is ignorant or a bad idea. It's just your preference. So, with that said fix ya mouth and get ya mind right. lol.

Well I'm glad those plant cuttings you took during the flowering stage came out fine Zeke, proving that mine has a very good chance, regardless of what some people have said... Again, we all have our personal preferences.. some like huge main colas, others like smaller, more numerous buds.. To each their own right?
Yes sir, my point exactly.

And that's just what we doing is learning, so sit your ass back and let us do just that. If you can leave some input for us that is helpful, go right ahead, but dont talk down to us like we have no fuckin clue. We blazin our own trails to see what works for us. So smoke a bowl and chill. Let the man experiment how he wants, if you believe one way is for you that's fine, but don't try to push it on us, cuz it may not be for us. Ya feel me?

Zeke - I never said your opinion was a ignorant, my apologies for coming across that way, but the way you said it like; you tried it once and said you'd never do it again is a bad idea in any aspect of life (almost) ... from you later posts it sounds like you've tried it more than once and have made a fair judgment on it for your situation.
I was just going along the lines of trying anything once and then ruling it out without experimenting is a bit silly, especially when it comes to growing pot.

Yes, I understand. I don't think I'm some master at growing or anything
... I think I am! Hahaha :p Joking joking. But I will be a pigheaded arsehole and say that from what I've seen and read on this site, there are either a lot of new growers here, or a lot of close-minded people hahaha. You know who you are :P

We've all got soo much to learn, and we always will!!!

Ok I can understand if your yield is greatly hindered, that sucks. But I can stress, neglect and fuk over my plants and they're still able to get me fukn hiiigh.
in the 80's plants had about 5-10% THC tops, these days they have 15-22% THC on average (22% being right up there) and low levels of CBD and CBN ... A neglected plant like that will likely still get you more wasted than a plant from the 80's ... Although some of the 80's strains have nicer, more psychedelic buzzes in my opinion. If your plants have trouble getting you high, get some new plants, or learn to grow better (which if your on here is likely what you're doing, so good on ya mate!)

Cheers.

My daughters friend has a plant he's growing outdoors at his house. He has apparently been chopping the shit out of it all summer long. According to her it looks like a shrub. I bet he gets a ton of bud off that fucker.
