This state is messed up

No prosecutor is going to be so bold, or stupid, as to press charges against a patient for growing their own during a period where their "friendly local dispensary" was closed for business. The intent of the law is for patients to be able to legally possess, use and have access to marijuana. If a patient has no other recourse than to grow their own, any decent attorney would have no problem at all winning that case. No prosecutor would waste their time or money on putting that one in front of a judge.

Well, we can only hope... just like we could only hope that if we were to go back to Salem, Mass 1692 and tell the court "There's no such thing as witches. You're all crazy! Free these people..." that we wouldn't be the next to be hanged.

You mean a possible delay in dispensary openings ? Very sad indeed (NOT!) but certainly not unexpected. Just a waiting game until the moves are made by the powers to be. I can be very patient at this moment in time just the way things are . . .
It's incredible how few people understand this. I get the impression that there are a lot of people "waiting for the program to start" who don't realize just how active it already is, and who certainly don't realize that a lot of growers are expected to kill their plants and toss thousands of dollars of equipment. I hope there's a resolution to it that preserves cultivation, but I'm leaning more toward leaving the state when it finally comes around.

Not to mention being under investigation by DOJ. He has stated though that if a sheriff catches anyone with marijuana patient or not he plans to confiscate it. But from a political sense it is not his winning issue after all the state is kind of split on mmj also look at the patient demographic makeups. There are quite a few 45+ and actually one of the larger demographics is males over 45 which is the same group which tends to sway his direction as an aggregate.
Most beneficiaries of the MMJ program live in heavily "red"-leaning districts.

Washington will do everything in its power right now to mess with AZ. With that said, I think O loses this term and the Repubs got bigger fish to fry.
Do you honestly believe that the Republicans have a bigger domestic law enforcement concern than drug prohibition?

wow i fucking hate hearing wolfhounds opinion hes such a teabagger
aside from that if u want anyone to blame for the anti mmj shit u should blame yourselves for electing these officials I wasn't old enough to vote at the time so i blame you all unexceptionallly

anyways good arguments bringing up sB1070 I think we need more protests regarding this I haven't really heard of any going on I remember a year ago when everyone had hope for fixing the law to include more diseases and toss out the 25 mile rule but now were just fighting to keep our cards from being worthless mementos of better days. Its appalling that we dont get to focus on helping the people who need it. Thats what i thought this was supposed to be about

But then again u guys should have predicted that MMJ would be a profit whore this is az and there's alot of small business owners or big business owners all they ever cared about was money
I know personally if i ever had a dispensary id never go over 300 an oz and if people couldn't afford id still work something out
BUT YES TELL ME MORE ABOUT HOW AZ HAS CORRUPT POLITICIANS AND A MASS OF SHEEPLE THAT VOTE FOR THEM but no matter what we do u should already realize its worthless if conservatives listened/ looked at the facts they wouldnt be conservatives

I see the error of my ways - anyone who thinks obama has done good for our country would be hard to reason with after looking at what he has done so far. Sorry for the interuption . . .

It will sure be nice when the younger people have enough life experience to not be so easily led around by those trying to give them everything (gov) & those trying to uphold the laws of the land.

Your precious Jon McCain would be president right now if it wasnt for his running mate Sarah Palin. So dont blame us blame your Republican party for picking such a idiot that the country did not want.

true story. Palin was obviously not fit for a VPship or commander in chief if worst came. so obvious the republicans noticed. I mean it woulda had to be crazy for them to relise the bllshit with their tolerance level

yea the current VP is way better. lol
Yes he is as a matter of fact. He actually has real political experience and never quit his job as a public servant. He also is well educated even though he makes quite a few gaffs. And oh I almost forgot, he reads books and his foreign policy goes beyond what he can see from his front porch. So yeah I would say he is more qualified.

I never said he wasn't more qualified. He just isnt WAY better. I think this whole stable of our current politicians is a bunch of horseshit personally.

With the exception of Ron Paul and maybe Gary Johnson they are just a bunch crooks in the pocket of big pharma, big oil and big corporations.

That's the funny things about republican leaning people...... they SAY they are educated. But when they speak, all they say is what was on Fox News this week. Read a fucking book, take a class, start getting news from more than just ONE place. BBC, Reuters, Al-Jazera, Der Spiegal English edition, ALL are 100000000% better than anything we have here in the USA. All we have is Flash Bang Media.... Blind then with bright colors and catch phrases to get them in a stupor then fill them with bullshit to scare them into watching some more and more and more and more
