So uhh... lmao.

I bought a stealth cabinet, and it came with carbon filters. I .... I've never seen carbon filters before lol, its a two pot cabinet, with an intake fan and an outtake fan. I put one carbon filter in the bottom of one of the pots and soil on top of it, i thought it was like a water/soil stopper thing for the holes at the bottom... I dont know. LOL.

Annnyyywwhhooooooo, my question is: Is the Carbon filter being at the bottom of the pot going to affect anything? Should I take it out? Leave it in? Im not concerned with the stink of the grow, just the health of the plants. I tried to google it and I might be the one person who has ever done this.

Carbon filter under the pot isn't going to do anything..>< it's ok though, one of many embarrassing things along the green brick road...trust me, been there

I built mine. Maybe this will help give you an idea how to put it together.

I have since got all the wires up and made other mods.

haha! ...umm..can't help ya there lol. Just make sure you plant double what you want. In case there are any set backs.

Don't think it will affect the plant, it might help with the draining of the soil

I bought that 2x4x6 oak cabinet for $80 and the fan filter was $100 and $100,for the light.

Thats a very nice set up, i must say. I suppose the answer would then be its a space issue, of why I went stealth cabinet.

Never used a filter either, I have leds and live in a legal state so smell isn't a concern, I smoke so much I'd be surprised the neighbors haven't smelled it already. They're all potheads too anyways, im sure.

Our gov'na should hopefully do the recreational thing soon. Theres so much potential in the money market alone, not to.
We're one of the states that went medical this past year.

I had to go micro-stealth, according to yours. Like i said, autoflower kush, i dont expect them to be too terribly big. According to the waterbottles in your pic, pretty big size. Sativas im sure. But my box is probably about 2.5 waterbottles tall.

Those were a mix. One was an auto flower.

This is from my last auto run. Autos can be fire.

2x4x6 veg tent $50, led lights $150, air pump(dwc) $20. 4x4x6 flower tent $75 lights $250 air pump $30.

I would genuinely like to see your setup.

Ill post a pic or two tomorrow or the next day. It is indeed PC-sized. To be more frank, its made to look like a stereo speaker. The classic woodgrain, you know, youll see.

Price a prebuilt cab that size. The metal ones. Like $1500-2000. Screw that.

Its cheaper to build. I was going to get a tent but found that oak cabinet. It blends in better than a tent. Its thicker and muffles the fan better.
