Things u learned in your first grows??????????

I use coco because it's so much easier than soil. I've got the way I do it dialed in. Lights on a timer, exhaust fan runs 24/7, blumats for watering. I go days sometimes without even looking at my plants. I like automation. Gives me more time to enjoy other things.

With coco and blumats I just use the same growing medium and nutrients for every grow. I set it and forget it. That's all the plants need from me. I give them a place to live, nutrients and light. They do the rest.
Nice set up.

My first ever grow i gave nutrients every water period. Dumb move. Also let my plants rootbound tell mid flowering which killed my yeild. My recent current grow space may be a issue but ill manage

nutrients every water period.
I thought that was preferred. If it was too much nutrients it would be better to jusy dilute it and still feed every watering? One mistake I made was trying to use the dosages on the bottle. Now I slowly work up to half strength.

Not me i went full on strength and the fact that i let them get root bound i could see through my buds many little holes and it was a indica dominant strain i was growing. Now i give my plants a nice healthy does of nutrients. Then give water for 1-2 weeks depending if im useing a grow feed or a bloom feed and how much. Most generally every time you give nutrients it's good for 2 weeks. Every day will indeed cause salt build up in the roots so it's good to run pure clean water in between to keep clean roots

I was doing fine when i was doing half strength on nutrients. Went to full strength and got nutrient burn. Recovered well. I think.
