Really all you need are the basics and the willingness to learn. Good genetics helps also.

I was looking for something else and stumbled across it one night a couple years ago. Doesn't cost me nothing but a couple of clicks to share it and I'd feel like a Scrooge if I didn't. :)

It would be much easier to list all the things I haven't learned yet since growing my first buds in '78 but those are unknown knowns that I don't know yet. ;)

Don’t have 11 flowering beauties, forget your water and see the local ditch”street run off” and think it’s a viable source of H2o, needles to say all 11 were brown and dead in 24 hours.

Don’t use strawberry extract, to “enhance” the natural flowers’ beauty and fragrance...

Research your flush, chop, drying and curing techniques!!!
All the hard work don’t let it hinder your final product cause you didn’t properly flush, dry the proper amounts of time, and obviously use the right curing method.

We all don’t like greenish bananas... let them hang on the counter until all those perfect black freckles appear! Perfect ripeness, when the fruit is the sweetest!

Same goes with the flowers you cultivate!!


Omg and the biggest NUMBER ONE RULE
NEVER TELL ANYONE! NOT YOUR BEST FRIEND NO ONE! 30 MONTHS D.O.C will make your realize the f up quick fast and a hurry!!

Well said mr x , probably the hardest thing to do is not show anyone your plants

For me it was to keep things simple and a good watering schedule oh and that less is more when it comes to feeding.... also patience is key it's hard to do when it's your first grow and you have so much pretty looking big buds in your tent and your low on meds.... oh how badly I wanted to take a branch down just to sample it but I had to control myself and know that if I leave them alone it'll be so worth it in the end ......and it was....

I learned what spider mites are and how much they suck. So staring at your plants is good and know what to look for and have a plan what you're going to do if a mite ever shows up because if it does it surely ain't alone.

I use coco because it's so much easier than soil. I've got the way I do it dialed in. Lights on a timer, exhaust fan runs 24/7, blumats for watering. I go days sometimes without even looking at my plants. I like automation. Gives me more time to enjoy other things.

With coco and blumats I just use the same growing medium and nutrients for every grow. I set it and forget it. That's all the plants need from me. I give them a place to live, nutrients and light. They do the rest.
