@Hook Daddy did you mount your dehumidifier inside the fridge or just set it in there?
The opening for the heat sink that originally blows out the top of the dehumidifier, do you still point that up? Does that air flow cause the buds immediately over it to get crispy at all?

For the most part, it seems to be working. Sometimes I have witnessed that the fan has a hard time getting started. I'm guessing that a connection may have been faulty. I have just taped the connections so far so it could definitely be that. I have ordered from the free Amazon stuff some 2 pin pigtails that I will be soldering in so I can make the dehumidifier removable for cleaning or maintenance purposes. When it's running though, it definitely seems to be working. I had the inkbird set at 60% and the trigger setting at 69%. Looking at the graph, it fluctuated between 58 and 63 so I'm kinda wondering if that's not just the fridge holding it and the dehumidifier wasn't kicking on at all? Either way, the hard stuff is done and I'll be working out the bugs and getting her all dialed in. Taking the bottom grate into work to cut the corner out for the dehumidifier. Also taking the dehumidifier in to trim the top part of the casing off to clear the 2nd shelf.

This is the ultimate plan with the pigtails.I soldered and used heat shrink over them. Everytime I do that it reminds me I need a soldering stationoh well I'll remember again next time I solder.

I ordered the mats that hook daddy posted earlier. I figure for $13, it is the cheapest option and easiest with a few zip ties.

Sorry, been a wild couple weeks at work, anyhow I did not mount the dehumidifier just set it so the pointed fins are in the drain channel. I have not had a problem with air flow causing drier buds in places, but the coolers fans also run, and there’s a fair amount of humidity in there to go around.

Awesome, thank you. Just wrapped up getting the shelves zip tied. Everything worked perfect, wrapped it up, and the dehumidifier was having a problem starting again. Swapped the cube for a higher amperage one and it seems to be working now. Gonna clip a couple branches and toss em in there overnight.

It ran great all night. This is what I'm seeing this morning. Dehumidifier runs until 61%, it shuts off, rh continues to drop to about 60.5%, rh starts climbing, Dehumidifier turns back on at 66%, rh keeps climbing to about 66.5%, then it starts dropping. Repeat. The climb from 60.5 up to 66.5 took about 5 minutes this morning.
Already a great improvement from climbing up over 71% in 2-3 minutes last night. I'm excited to see what it is doing tonight.
