What dehumidifier to get for a 24" x 24" x 56 " tent.

He means is your exhaust venting out of the house or is it just venting out of the tent and into the room the tent is in.
I pull the air in from one side of the basement and exhaust to the other side of the basement.

I might vent outside when it warms up outside. I don't want any of the 95% humidity and 32⁰ of the outside air getting in my tent.

So in the winter. My basement is like 30rh and 58 deg. I exhaust directly into my basement as I could use a little of the rh and temps from inside tent. Then I have a large dehumidifier in my basement so it doesn’t get out of hand on rainy days with snow melt. The water I collect from that runs the humidifier for my tent. My exhaust controls my RH limits annd only kicks on when thresholds are exceeded and my space heater controls my temp limits. My intake is passive. Works great.

This is my thinking as well. If the room the tent is pulling air from is at 35% RH, it shouldn't matter what it's like outdoors. I'm surprised you can't get below 60% inside the tent in that case...
I can get it down if I leave my door open. But then it stinks up the basement.

My basement stays at 75⁰F.

If I run the 4" exhaust fan on high it will drop the temperature and humidity down.

I'm just going to leave it at 60% because I also have a photo in the same tent that is only about 8" tall. I only have the one tent.

I've changed my mind on trying to get it lower.

I think you need an oversized carbon filter or a stronger fan. Food for thought when you get your next tent. Always oversize your exhaust
I'm on a tight budget and used a 110 CFM Biscuit fan with adapters from the square fan to 4" tubing. So when I get my new tent, I'll have to wait a couple of months before I can get a bigger fan. I have around $40 into my fan with the adapters.

Ahhh that explains it. Yeah definitely time to step up your exhaust fan game, especially if you're using a carbon filter. Even something like this with a plug-in manual controller would be better, for about the same amount of $ you already have invested: https://a.co/d/9yxCJb0

Personally 60% at this point would concern me, it's only gonna go up once the auto gets deeper into flower and that photoperiod plant starts growing...

I've decided on this combo.

AC Infinity CLOUDLINE PRO T4, Quiet 4” Inline Duct Fan with Temperature Humidity VPD Controller, WiFi Integrated App Control - Ventilation Exhaust Fan for Heating Cooling, Grow Tents, Hydroponics https://a.co/d/4juoL02

That will be good for your veg tent. When you expand. One thing I've learned is always oversize your fan. Especially with the ac infinity, you can just set it to dial back on auto. Good fan, and great controller. I have the 6" and the 8" is on order for my third 4x8

I've bought another tent 32 x 32 x 64. I plan on using it for my veg tent and the 2 x 2 for a drying tent. But not until my auto is finished.
