i have a freak on board here. lol
just thought i`d show some shots of it to see if anyone has had this happen to thiers before.
these are coming out of the fan leaf branches, looks like it`s trying to grow branches.
i have a cpouple that have actualy shot a good start to them.the others are in my journal.

theres another type of mutation called the deltoid mutation (no clue if its actually called that lol) but for every internode a third branch grows; but this just opens up even more possibilities: imagine if more branches grew off of the original branches, instead of more branches growing alongside the original branches.. it would kinda remove the need to top or fim plants

That's not normal? All of my lower fan leaf branches now have two stems coming out at the main trunk. One right on top of the other one. Before you ask, I'm going for the camera. Have to get the little lady from work first and hit the store. Then I'll snap some photos! In the photos above, where those little leaves are starting... I've got another branch with a smaller fan leaf at the end... Sometimes those split too.

no were talking about the green growing out on the actual stem. thats definately a freek.

Mine don't have the green stuff on the stems. Sorry, got a bit confused. But, here are some photos none the less. First grow and all, I'm not all that sure what I'm doing or if it's turning out right. I will keep an eye out for the green stuff on the stems thought, my tallest plant is only 9 inches.
