There is a protest going on right now at my local chick fil a

gay rights supporters are lined up around the building blocking the drive thru, but chick fil a is giving free food to anyone that supports their freedom of speech. So..if you bash through a gay picket line you can get a free chicken sandwich...WTF?
I guess since I think people should be able to be gay, without being gay myself and I am just as able to say that Chick-Fil-A doesn't have to like gay people...
I mean telling Chick-Fil-A they are wrong is as bad as Chick-Fil-A for saying that gay marriage is wrong. I don't get it...
Why can't 2 extremes meet up and make something temperate...no we get 2 volatile sides...Fighting at opposite ends but claiming to want the same thing...rights and equality...You can't cry for your own rights while denying someone else theirs.

I dont understand what gays think they will accomplish with these ridiculous protests... it just makes them look bad and hypocritical. It goes to show that somebody cant voice their opinion here in America without some kind of backlash. Pitiful.

You dont have to bash them. Park accross the street and walk backward up to the line, they will think you are one of them, "Now Back Up That Ass" you get free chicken and life is good.

Well said my friend. I'm not gay but my brother is. Can't say I even have an opinion on gay marriage. I just let the world do what it wants. If chick fil a doesn't want gay marriage what does that have to do with selling a chicken sandwhich. Saying you don't want gay marriage is just bad for chick fil a if anything. So let the man make his sandwiches and gays be gay! Problem solved for everyone. If you are going to picket a sandwich shop for not wanting gay marriage you should protest every president in history that didn't legalize it (which is every one). Funny tho seems chick fil a is more a danger to gays than politics currently by judging the situation and news coverage lol

Lol exactly, gays are just causing more publicity for the restaraunt which is making them more money then ever.. gays are owning themselves right now. If they would learn to grow up and take the high road, and show that they are serious about their cause instead of soliciting , maybe they would get somewhere.

That is the problem I have...Chick-Fil-A deals in chicken...so if they tell me they are against chicken, then we have an issue...bet I don't know what being gay has to do with a damn chicken sandwich either way...
I mean gays have the right to be gay, and Chick-Fil-A will sell them chicken...it isn't like you go to buy some nuggets and that ask for heterosexual verification...

My husband said he wanted to go get a free sandwich, but not if he has to fight his way through a line of gays...he also thinks that people can be gay if they want, but what about all the people that just want a delicious chicken sandwich...could I grab a chicken and go protest the gays for protesting the chicken store?

I dont think they were asking for this flamewar (pun intended), but gays decided to act childish and take it to em anyways. I dont understand why, like I said, they are owning themselves bcuz the restaraunt is getting record sales right now. I like chicken.

I feel more like Chick-Fil-A had no reason to say whether they are for or against gays...their only realm of reality and existence is chicken...they deal in chicken...why do they even have a standpoint on gay rights that people care about...? Who cares what Chick-Fil-A says? They are just a chicken restaurant...

Actually, a lot of major corporations have publicly announced whether or not they support gay marriage. Most of them say they do because their sell outs and want more business.

Perhaps Kaendar took wisdom from the posts he received in his it's wrong to be gay threads...perhaps he has had a change of thought/heart?
