i agree....for me, the strain determines how i trim it.......some make a lot of dry sift, some don't.....some look great using a drying screen, some don't......that being said, i think the way sub does it is the most delicate, and respectful to the flowers, esp. the resin.........imho, i would never leave fans on when drying, i think its lazy, and creates at least twice as much work in the end, and creates an inferior finished product.....i have been finding myself doing the two-stage wet trim like sub, taking off anything without resin first, then catching the sugar leaf......but i do like my screens for dense rock bud.
Azomax is a 1.2% solution of azadirachtin, an extract from neem oil (extracted with alcohol, I believe). So with it you are getting just the effects of that compound, in a more concentrated form than with the whole oil. There is also a concentrated form of neem oil, clarified hydrophobic extract of neem oil, that is everything except the azadirachtin.
thats curious murp, i just had this same convo with my shop guy......he wanted me to try azo instead of neem, but i was saying how i like the polish part of pure neem, and he was saying how azo was a polish too....i didn't buy it, stuck to my gut, and got me a fresh bottle of oil....i love the real stuff.
thinking your gut was right on it nugs...I haven't really tested whether azo itself is a polish, but it's apparently an alcohol-based concentrate you get from the oil, so it makes sense to me that the alcohol strips out the wax you might want....
Sup Nerds, What about BT catapiller killer for bud worms....Don't have to reuse unless it rains outside....I spayed it on in the evening...no more bud worms...ever... Peace
killer info CC, thanks for sharing......i have to say though, i love the smell of neem!....but i am a little off......hate the smell of serenade though!BT is deff the win for budworms. (but i would spray in morning not evening so's not to have them wet all night, perfect for mildew)
Azamax for gnats, root aphids, springtails, basically anything in soil except..
Spinosad for thrips
i like the sheen you get from using neem but i hate the smell soo freakin much, azamax is basically super concentrated neem oil with an insect grown inhibitor, doesnt stink nearly as much as neem does.

bro, up here we have asian ladybeetles that cornell university planted for aphid control on soybeans.....so we get their services for free!.....esp indo in the winter, they infiltrate big time....used to hate them before growing, now i love em'.i love the smell of napalm in the morning
