Subcool, that cd that you were given with the rap songs is bomb! fuck em all, they don't have to watch or listen. Weed Nerds what are your opinions on trimming flowers before you hang em to dry? That's how I have done it since day one, trim and then hang to dry. But recently another grower that I just met told me to hang the plants with all the leaves(fan & sugar) still on the plants. And to trim everything rite before it goes into the cure jar. He said the flowers will smell better. Is there any truth to that?

i dont believe so. i believe the grower can trim any way they want and its not going to change what you end up with in terms of quality medicine. Cut it up the way you like brother.

i doubt that. until i started trimming my buds of all leaf immediately after the chop, my buds would never get a really dank smell, but a hay type grassy smell, sort of like the fan leaves themselves start to after you pick them and they dry out. but if you want to try it yourself i dont see any harm in that. but i bet $$ that the bud trimmed immediately will taste better

i never hang with fan leaves on, that will only bleed chlorophyll but ive hung with sugar leaves on, trimming is a pain in the ass like that btw, plus it would take down the hash quality/quantity because the trichs will break off easier once dry. the way sub does it is deff best for his process, but deff to each his own!
