The Victim Mentality

Democrats love making themselves out to be the victims. No matter what happens its some one else's fault.

They end up broke - some one else's fault (those cold heartless capitalist Republican bastards)

The climate changes due to increased solar activity - some one else's fault (those cold heartless capitalist Republican bastards)

Indians too lazy to get off the reservation where Uncle Sam gives them money to buy them alcohol - some one else's fault (those cold heartless capitalist Republican bastards)

They end up not being able to afford a sub prime or alt a mortgage (never mind that they would have never been able to afford it in the first place) - some one else's fault (those cold heartless capitalist Republican bastards)

Always some one else's fault.

They show an amazing inability to accept self-responsibility, and to adapt, and then continuously attempt to blame other people.

This is especially ironic when they talk about how hard it is for some one from the ghetto or the trailer park to move up in the world. Yes, it is harder, but it is still possible. It's not the system that is rigged against you. It's your own lack of self-responsbility, self-discipline, and self-respect.

Instead of asking themselves, "What can I do for myself?" they ask, "What can I get from other people?"

Despite of this selfishness, and self-centered attitude that shows that they are greedy egotists who think that they should have a silverspoon in their mouths they have the audacity to accuse people who get ahead in society of being greedy, and self-centered.

This is the height of stupidity, and ignorance.

No one is holding you down but yourself. If you want something GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GET IT, instead of crying, "Poor me, poor me, *sniff, sniff* It's some one else's fault, It's them that are holding me down, them! It's them, I swear, all them, everything, them, them, them, them, all them!"

If you actually see a problem, instead of bitching about it, and whining about it, and insisting that other people "fix" it. Why don't you all get off your ass, and drop the "I'm a victim" mentality, and do something about it?

Pointing fingers doesn't fix jack shit!

All it does is make you a convenient target for people like me to laugh their asses off at.

What's this have to do with Bush?

This has to do with them pointing their fingers at people like you and me, CC. Everything's our fault in their little demented worlds.
(those cold heartless capitalist Republican bastards)

I just took the distillation process one step further, and filtered the capitalist part out.

Like us? Are you a hater now, too?:-P

What's wrong with War, besides the people that end up getting killed?

The problem with the War in Iraq is that it is a War that we are undertaking not to defend ourselves, but a war that we undertook pro-actively. Of course, Saddam Hussein really was a sick demented bastard, and his son's were psychopaths that needed to be removed from party.

They had a history of gassing their own people. Iraq and Iran had engaged in a war with each other during the 1980's.

Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1991 (peace was never reached, the only thing signed was a cease fire, so there really was no need to redeclare war on Iraq. We were still at war with them.)

Me, personally, I think Saddam Hussein and his corrupt regime deserved it, and that our actions will make Iraq a better place. Once we stop playing grab ass and let our troops finish what they are being told to do.

And now you're pointing fingers again. I'm sure there are a lot of Democrats who think the same way about Marijuana.

And there's probably a lot of Republicans who don't think Marijuana should be illegal.

I can think of at least one, and that's myself... of course, I'm not a registered Republican, so I guess I don't count.

What about CC and ViRedd?

Registered Libertarian Party in 2000. That was my first and last party affiliation. I haven't renewed, so don't know if that expired.

I smoke weed every day.

I voted for Bush Jr. (second time around). First Presidential for me. I wouldn't change a thing.

:-P

Marijuana Timeline - A History of Marijuana - Concept420 - Marijuana Entertainment and Information

1915 - 1927 Cannabis begins to be prohibited for nonmedical use in the U.S., especially in SW states...California (1915), Texas (1919), Louisiana (1924), and New York (1927).

New York Governor in 1927 - FDR, a Democrat (the same bastard that would later confiscate everyone's Gold, and make it illegal for people to demand payment in Gold, destroying the dollar.)

1937 Cannabis made federally illegal in the U.S. with the passage of the Marihuana Tax Act.

Under President FDR, showing that it was a Democrat that signed the bill.

I hate democrats for being whiney and republicans for being control freaks. Fuck em both.

I agree with what you said about people being lazy but its a bipartisan issue.

Or perhaps that this can be shown to be an example that Democrats create problems and then continuously pretend to have a "solution" to the problem that they created in the first place.

Yeah, $200,000 a year...

It is sickening.

Also the reason why I'm not voting for McCain or Obama. The idea is to secure more freedoms, not to surrender more freedoms.

No, no, no,........"we're" voting for McCain to defend freedom, remember? The only surrender is to reality.

I read Dr. Lester Greenspoon's book on marijuana back in the early 60s and have been for legalization ever since. If you do a Google search on Dr. Greenspoon, you'll find some valuable information.

On the Republican vs Democrat debate: I find most Democrats to be misled by their desire for "compassion" and a more "level" playing field. Most are fair minded people who want the best for society ... but they just haven't thought things through. For example, most of them have never given a thought about where government gets the money or how its taken. Then, there is the hard-left type of Democrat who knows full well where the government gets the money and how its taken. These are the looters and/or the successful who feel guilty about their monetary success.

The Republicans I know are achievers who want to clear the playing field of government obstacles so that others may have a clear path to achievement as well. I realize that there are folks who try to rig the system ... but that's not the exclusive territory of just Republicans. The Republicans I know are free market thinkers who want to be left alone to grow to their maximum potential. Unfortunately, in recent years, the Republican Party has gotten away from their roots of free markets, low taxes, limited governmental spending, and the promotion of liberty.

As a Member of the Libertarian Party for the past 25 years, there are very few Republicans and no Democrats that I've voted for over those years. This time, I'm voting for McCain/Palin because the thought of a Marxist like O'Bama being president, with a filibuster-proof senate is really frightening to me. Also, there will be two, maybe even three Supreme Court nominations coming up over the next four years, and I want strict constitutionalists sitting on the bench. As a Libertarian and a businessman, I believe in personal responsibility and private charity. I also believe in a VERY limited central (federal) government, states rights ... and the more local the government, the better.
